Metal Polishing/Buffing Brass and Copper (Antique Restoration - Rega Sprayer)

How to polish brass and copper using buffing wheels on a bench grinder. Today I polish a weathered antique Rega Sprayer, in pretty ordinary condition. Using simple metal polishing techniques, in a short space of time it gets returned to it's former glory.

What color bar did you use for the copper polishing in the second wheel? You mentioned also that you could make it even shinier. How would I do that? Just use it longer on the wheel?

Hey Jay, use the green bar (called SSX) with the calico wheel. Yes the longer you spend with the calico/SSX, the better the result you'll get (just depends on personal preference and the look you're trying to achieve)
