WoW - Thank you so much for saving me $120 worth of anger! Sad, as I was really looking forward to this. I guess I will just go buy a revised edition instead. The new decks look fun at least. Thanks again for this unboxing!
Those trays! Ouch! And you didn't try to make them fall apart, so clearly they have issues. I'm sure with a little bit of glue they'd be solid. But seeing them dismantle when you first pick it up, not a good look.
I love these short content videos. Two suggestions for other "series" 1. Y'all unboxing the upgraded games you have. I know Tom is obsessed with upgrading components in the library and I'd love to see how they come together. 2. Showing painted miniatures. I'm getting into painting and would love slo-mo reveals of the Marvel United heroes in particular ;)
You missed the biggest fail of all! If you watch Monique and Naveen on Before You Play, you'll see that the Major Improvement cards are now cardboard cards rather than the usual cards, and they come in a "frame" that is supposed to hold them as a display, which takes the place of the original display board to place them on (which itself is unnecessary but at least user-friendly, which the new frame display is not). The frame looks like it could have been scrap cardboard, until Monique read the rules and found out that this frame is supposed to function as a display holder for the Major Improvements. Total fail.
Viticulture, La Granja, Teotihuacan, Castles of Burgundy and Ultimate Railroads did it right: Release with deluxe pieces, deluxe box and all expansions. This seems lackadaisical. The box to hold the cards is only half full, leaving then to slide around? Not enough trays to separate components? Flimsy trays? Hard Pass...
This is a huge let down, farmers of the Moore should have been included, and I do believe not all the current decks are included either. I’ll keep my original Agricola and my fishing box storage!
Not me, I make my own inserts. But holy hell that's a flimsy, terrible design for a box of an ANIVERSARY edition of a game. I would honestly get this product if I wasn't worried about it being destroyed by the time it got to me.
I've had this sitting in my cart on Game Nerdz for months, taunting me. I can't bring myself to pull the trigger because what if my copy is busted too? Holy cow Lookout what a stupid design.
I thinks someone has been spoiled by kickstarters and game trayz inserts. It looked perfectly adequate and nothing a bit of PVA wouldn’t, sort it no end
If this was a standard priced box then there wouldn't be a problem. The problem is they are charging kickstarter deluxe prices. I was looking forward to buying this as I collect deluxe editions of games, but there is no way there is 120.00 worth of value here, and I think you know that. To be honest, I own standard editions of games that have production values that would blow this away. Just because the game is 15 years old does not mean you should use 15 year old board game technology, especially if you are charging 2023 deluxe pricing.

You can just buy the empty box for 90 lol

some resealable baggies may be a better option.
This is one of the most entertaining unboxings I have ever watched!

Just hold the trays from the middle and they will not fall apart

Total fail when you accidentally throw the frame in the bin because it just looked like a punch board 😤
@@leighmarritt9289 Monique said she did the exact same thing and had to retrieve it from the trash!
Pretty sure if you grab those trays from the centre they won't come apart. Still doesn't look worth the cost imo.
Looking forward to getting this within the next week. This will be my first proper intro to Agricola.
Asmodeous - LOL!!!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I got the revised edition for $25 new. This is $100 more for a couple extra decks? What?

Thank you for this so much… really…

Chuck Wood looks like the Tin Woodman from the Wizard of Oz. He pops up in Chai too.
WELSHIEEEEE!! (Proceeds to get zapped by a space entity)
Who uses original inserts anyway..

What a joke of an anniversary edition. For the price i expected most of the expansions, and upgraded meeples.
This version is way overpriced for what you get.

such a comedy of errors

I think they went overboard on the art budget and had to cut corners everywhere else.
