- Hello everyone, todays video is another one of my 2001 Kenmore Elite Catalyst. Todays wash load consisted of a few bath towels, and a handful of smaller dish towels and washcloths. It also features the black straight vane agitator, which I have not showcased much of with this machine yet. All in all, it did a great job as always, with no problems getting the towels nice and clean! I hope you all enjoy!
Cycle Selections: Warm/warm - Heavy Duty - 10 Minute Wash - Catalyst ON
Detergent: All "Free & Clear"
Great video, Henry. I need to use my straight vane agitator more. I'm tempted to do a video similar to this, but with more towels and max water level.

Nice change with that agitator.
Be mindful when frequently changing agitators that the condition and security of the rubber seal on the agitator bolt is important to maintain integrity of an air bubble which avoids water getting to the agitator and spin shaft seals and bearings.
@@DADoESofTX I always am mindful of the agitator bolt seal, to make sure it’s seated properly and not torn or compromised. I have a decent supply of replacements just in case as well.
This is one of my top favorite agitators. Best agitator for if you need a scrubber 😊
How do you disable the lid lock on that one I have one as well
I'm so confused when it started spinning fast in the beginning of the cycle 😮 🤷🏽♂️
Hey! It agitator like the maytag centennial commercial technology ... the one before they went full electric and belt driven transmission
@@pontiac38gm The spin at the start of the cycle is the “Catalyst” treatment, where it sprays a concentrated detergent and water mixture over the load to help loosen up dirt and stains. This agitator came out of a newer (2020 ish) Whirlpool Commercial machine.
