Does the order of products matter?

Definitely! I always use a heat protectant first, then straighten the hair. Next add texture powder to the roots before backcombing the crown and side sections. Lastly, finish with a touch of hairspray 😘 Hope that helps a bit?

OK, this video is nearly 4 years old, but I need to thank you anyway. I have thin hair that doesn't grow longer than shoulder length. I don't have enough hair to tease a ponytail like that, but I was able to use this technique by smoothing my hair over a bun donut thing. This is the ONLY time I have been able to make a chignon in my hair, or have any sort of updo for that matter. It brought tears to my eyes. I have been wearing it for more than an hour now, and it has not moved (another hair miracle - as only mini bobby pins stay in my hair, everything else slides out). My family has a very special event planned for a milestone birthday for my mother, and I have been desperately trying different techniques and accessories to be able to wear my hair up. This is truly amazing. My hair is smooth, sleek, not messy at all - which is how many tutorials aimed at fine hair look, and they didn't work in my hair anyway. Thank you, a thousand times, thank you.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I’m so glad you have managed to adapt this tutorial to help you get your hair In to an updo 😍
Maybe I should try to find some models with very fine hair to create some more tutorials?
I hope your Mother has a wonderful Birthday 🥳 Take care lovely xxx

@@HairAngels Yes please, I have thick hair long hair. But not that much. Not very much hairfollic and I don't like using extra hairextentions. I guess it's natural but we're all used to seeing shiny big hair in the media. What simple quick ideas you have for that please?

Seems like a lot of hair teasing 🤔. I’m guessing her hair is just super thin. I would love to see this look without the teased hair underneath if possible. Def love this look for sure :)) Also love her highlights!!!

Hey 👋 the hair teasing is used to fill out the style, but if you wanted to skip the teasing you could just use a little hair padding instead maybe? Thanks for watching x

Nice. I don't know which was more distracting, the girl constantly talking or the background music lol. But great hair style! Perfectly done.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. My newer videos now have voice overs explaining the hairstyles ( with music which is a lot quieter and hopefully not as annoying lol) :)

I also don't see it. Can this be even done alone? If not that is impossible for me as I live alone. I do not think anyone could do this themselves. I wanted something quick and easy, not long and hard. :(

I agree with Nancy M. This is FAR from easy. In addition to being misleading in the description, I DO NOT LIKE videos with no talking. If you don't like your own voice have the girl in the chair talk... it's obvious she enjoys talking.
