The hair loop tool at 3:15 looks like it's really good quality and well designed. I searched and searched and all I can find are cheap plastic ones with very large loops or the needle-threader style ones made for stringing beads onto hair, and those have larger handles that aren't designed to slide through hair. What you have looks like a huge knitting needle with a quality rubber band attached.

Hi, I can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head! I’ll have a look for it in a little while and get back to you when i find out the company! I must say, I still tend to reach for my cheap plastic one more often though, as the rubber loop does tend to drag the hair a bit

i don't have the hairloop thing, so i'll use one of my knitting needles and attach a hair tie to it. I also have short hairs in the front, so i will braid them in, and wrap the bun in braids. That should...do it :D
