Great vid, used to do lots of these trips in the early 80’s out of RI. Just did one last October. Huge difference from the 80’s before the cod crash, we were landing 30-40lbers easy and limiting out in around 2 hours, and plenty of pollack. Last year we caught maybe 10-12 under 20lb and no pollack. We did make up for lack of pollack with lots of Black Sea bass. That’s for posting, great eating fish.

I was using an old old okuma with their old logo. Someone left it on my old boat. Becca and Joey were using two different shimano rods. You would have to ask Joey what kind. I’m not 100% sure.

I got them at Quaker lane bait and tackle. But most shops should have those teasers. We got gulp grubs
