If you looked VERY closely at then end, you would have seen my name in the credits. 😁 It's because this is a Legion M production (fan-funded production company). I'm a Legion M investor - have been since the beginning, so it was cool to see this film finally come to fruition. I enjoyed this. Had some issues with it in various parts but I still liked it enough to go see it at the theater after I'd already screened it at home. Madison Wolfe impressed me a lot in The Conjuring 2; I also thought the was British at the time. I hadn't heard of this serial killer beforehand either.
I watched the trailer the other day it looked good an now u have given a good film review. I'll watch this at some point great video as always Barry 😎👍🏴
Yeah, I went to the show and saw it. I didn't have anything to do, so I went on bargain Tuesday shows. No one was in the theater, so I was alone. I admit, I was surprised by it. It did make me jump a few times. I think it received funding from Missing and Exploited Children in the credits. I think it's a well-handled film. Much better than most.
Eh. The clips of the acting was pretty horrible. The scene where the two friends are walking on the road, ugh, that friend talked and acted like Minnie Mouse and wtf throws a rock at a creepy white van already following you?! That turned me off. The friend also just ditches her out of nowhere and walked off a bridge?! Nothing else was there, maybe she felt the movie was so bad she had to end it for good? Right off a bridge. Black Phone was literally the same movie and done right. Watch that! Friends don’t let friends watch poo. Good newer horror film: It Follows. Also the goofy “X” trilogy has got to stop. Peal was good but the other two tried too hard and ended up lame.
It was very by the numbers slasher. My main problem was the ending had no resolve. The family having a dinner like they won’t all be looking over their shoulder constantly cause the killer got away. And who was the killer? I wanted to like it but it doesn’t even have good kills. 1 1/2 stars.
The time jumps were senseless. Was it meant to suggest that he followed her for 5 years? No one aged at all. No resolution, nothing in the news to build tension, the mother was a goofy character .
Nope sorry it's never a true story it's always BASED ON A TRUE STORY so stop lying. Or stop being so uneducated. 🙄 It's also usually 10% truth and the rest made up nonsense.... So yea you're wrong.
Although I mentioned it several times, here is the title: The Man in the White Van.
Why don't you have a poster of "The Monster Squad" on that empty wall space in the background?

Ali Larter is rather interesting in her role in Landman lol.
Barry, you should watch a new british horror called The Moor. I'd like to hear what u think and how u view the ending.
Added it to the watch list. Love a good British Horror.

Possibly why it was well crafted for the budget they had.
Where can we watch this movie?
I thought this was better than the similarly toned film Woman of the Hour on Netflix
I haven't seen that but I did see some clips of it and I agree, it feels similar.
Cheers Barry 🍻 will watch that tomorrow with my son Jack 👍
Nice one mate!
I liked this movie a lot. Great atmosphere. Good characters and interactions.
Put on the list cheers Barry!

Bet what?
@WolfmansGotNards 😂 The title.
I'm lost, sorry. :(
@@WolfmansGotNards meaning I'll watch it. All g. Jus a type of american figure of speech 😂
I thought it was kinda dumb.
In what way?

not everything needs an explanation or resolve.
Thanks for the recommendation Barry 👍
The movie title sounds goofy though - A rhyming title; Man and Van lol 😆😉
It was the title that got me clicking in the first place. I actually dig it.
@@WolfmansGotNards It is certainly a memorable title

You've spelt yeah wrong. Uneducated?
The movie is based on a true story. What do you not get?
It would be great if you watched the video before spewing nonsense.
Well, someone's salty, likes the smell of their own toots, and clearly didn't watch the video😂
You know what would have been great? IF YOU SAID THE NAME OF THE MOVIE!!!! This channel sucks.
He said it a few times.
The Man In The White Van.
Do you not have ears? He said it within the first minutes of the video.
Stop trolling, lad. It doesn't go down well for the trolls here.
