VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
In 2021 a tree fell on Angela's house, sending her into a quick assessment of what was important and how to achieve it. Although life on the road didn't seem to fit her idea of structured life, after a visit to a friend living in a Westfalia van, her next purchase was this vintage 1982 RV.
Angela kept some vintage accessories while making many alterations, which enhanced this rig to a more modern tiny home on wheels. Aside from the massive couch and quaint kitchen, there's a full bathroom and unique gold holographic floor! This traveling model also sings and plays her instruments and sells her handmade eco-friendly sunscreen at local markets. She sure has made it a fantastic journey for being unsure of life on the road!

I mean on the outside, yeah. The guts of the machine, the chassis, etc, may tell a different story. As well as fuel consumption.

Because it's a LOT of work and requires a perfectionist, meticulous, VERY detail oriented person, who's also extremely competent at their craft, who has esoteric knowledge and insight. Those people are few and far between.
Look at Ladi and Margaret for an example of these kinds of people.
@@Un1234l If you want any older vehicle, have it checked by a good mechanic. Unless the frame is bent or broken, everything else can be fixed.

I missed her name, sorry. I appreciate that she talked about needing to be grounded, and seeking grounding. I am the same. Interestingly, though, I have never felt as though I belonged in one place. I belong with my family and friends, just never felt I could stay in one home for the rest of my life; a strange contradiction. Anyway, I appreciate that she shared her perspective, it resonates with me, and this is something that I'd like to do. I do not recall hearing anyone else state this, thanks.

I love that the main bed is above the cab, so nothing to set up and take down when you need more room! I also love that you have Solar and a Generator as back up. Even though people convert vans into VanLife, the classic camper is specifically designed for living even full time. It's just you can't be stealthy...

I can’t wait to get our composting toilet. I love yours! That looks great. And pardon the pun, but your glittery epoxy floor is BRILLIANT! I’m taking that idea for our bathroom floor and vanity top when we redo it this summer.

Beautiful kitchen and pantry, who would say this is a smaller than a school bus inside! Gloomy weather also depressed me, so organised RV made me wish to have a life like this.

I love what you've done with your class C rig. Those over the cab bunks are very comfortable and roomy. The bathroom is just the bomb with the tub and shower and having a full range/oven is really what a person needs to be comfortable. That also goes for the fridge/freezer. I really don't like those small under the counter ones for a number of reasons. From what you said you don't have to worry about making it a 4 season for dealing with frozen tanks and pipes. You're so much better off than in a van build and you probably haven't had problems with insurance like you can with Skoolie or van builds. Wishing you happy and safe travels.

We use tension curtain rods in cupboards to keep things from falling out when you open doors.we use in them all and bathroomed cabinet travel safe🎉🎉
Please buy yourself 2 cans of wasp spray for protection. It has a far reaching stream, that can blind someone. It’s great protection to use in conjunction of your taser and pepper spray. Stay safe and I enjoyed watching your video sooooo much!!,

They have some amazing brackets that can hold up to 440lbs for a pair fold down flat to the wall you can put whatever type of topper you like on them.

Best setup I’ve seen in all the videos I’ve watched. It’s feels so much more spacious than most and it has a bathtub. What’s not to like? :-)
Wasp spray hiden around the place is so much better to use than pepper spray. It sprays 10 feet, and you don't have to be as accurate as you do with pepper spray.
Ok 👍 my name is Maraea I live in a very small town name Hawera Taranaki New Zealand ive always wanted to travel of the grid so for many years I've looked into buying a double decker bus or RV camper van which ever comes first but this year 2022 is my year to travel I'm 62 and all my life I have looked after all my grand children from new born untill they have all grown up moved on in life my journey starts the Christmas and would love to travel and really see wot New Zealand looks like for me threes will do it and I'm soso looking forward to my journey living of the grid me and my grandson age 11

Wasp or Bear spray is also a great defense to keep on hand. Taser or pepper spray, they have to get close to you. That can be deadly for you. The other, you get away and they need a hospital in which case you can sort the cops so when the person shows up for help, they’ve got them and they can hurt anyone else.
