Have you encountered aquatic weeds with either of these motors, and how well did they do? Some of the best fishing is where there is pretty thick growth, so it is good to know if the motor just cut through them, or started to excessively vibrate or quite when fouled?
This motor is very powerful; it cuts through lily pads and seaweed in the ocean. Even fishing line doesn't seem to affect it much. However, heavy vegetation will definitely make it go slower. One time the prop did get stuck, but I moved it by hand and it started working normally, killswitch was off.
@@AliexFolgueira Thank you so much for this information! I'm going to use the NT300 to drive a sailboat, and I live on the weedy end of a lake. Getting out to open water & back again has always been a hassle. You have helped me make up my mind.

I think the pedal steering one would be a great First Upgrade to my Bonafide PWR 129 when get it delivered in February. Iv been looking at them torpedoe trolling motor as well.

I have the NT300 to use on my Live L4, Pelican Catch, NPV Seascape and others. I do have a hobie and nucanoe that I think the NK would be better for.

@@omieyouknowme yup you pay for both fresh and salt or do a comob, if you want snooks or crabs or some special species, you gotta pay extra permits, like lobster or stuff
