Pete weber was stunned to win the second semi final match when Lonnie waliczek could not convert the 1 2 4 10 washout

That was a real bummer for Lonnie Waliczek. That was one of the toughest spares to pick up that there is. I was so hoping that Lonnie Waliczek would pick that up.

At 1:09:10, in the 2004 MEDFORD OPEN, TOMMY DELUZE JR. fails to get the 10 Pin out of the rack, and Pete Weber wins his 30th PBA Tour Title.

Damn Lonnie was playing the lanes so well vs Shafer the 1st game I wonder why he change playing the deep inside line knowing how Tommy delutz was dialed it playing it well even Pete's ball reaction vs Lonnie knowing right lane his look wasn't great but he went straight vs delutz and it paid off for him

Pete weber prevails in a thrilling title match when tommy delutz Jr left the 10 pin on his second shot in the 10th frame to win the Medford open

Wow. Lonnie Waliczek lost by only 2 pins against Pete Weber. I was really hoping that Lonnie Waliczek would win that game and then the championship game.

pete weber has a reputation as an asshole for a good reason but he is one of the only players on tour to really offer his condolences to his opponent especially when they lose because of a bad break or something. he may be loud and i don’t know about his private life but he really does seem like a good sport

It's sad so many people demonize Pete Weber because of some classless moments he's had. Yes I agree most of them were dumb and poor character displays, BUT he NEVER rubbed an unfortunate loss in an opponent's face like someone like Marshall Holman or even worse, Ernie Schlegel (Who is the biggest piece of shit I've ever seen to do that, AND MORE THAN ONCE on telecasts). I've been to telecasts with Pete in it. I think in 2005, another in 2006, and another in 2009. He didn't win any of them but he was always professional and even signed things I brought or bought to get him to sign after the show and even remembered me in 2009. Most people who demonize him now are probably those idiots who just follow the wind and do it just cuz other idiots do it. That's sad and pathetic. Pete knew Lonnie and especially Tommy were tough opponents and was truly sportsmanlike to both of them. Didn't rub either of their faces in it, but oh no, "Pete is an undeserving jerk." Big F U to all of you who shit on that guy.
