- I'm using 3 digital collections from Sharm Studio to create 3 journals.
They all have embroidery or lace making themes and feature lovely vintage images.
After we discuss page possibilites, we will experiment with several media supplies that I may be able to use on the cover decorations.
Come on along, and play in my craft room with me!

I can't wait to see these journals grow. 😊
LOVE THAT DIGITAL❤
Great subject of all the pretty laces and embroidery we adore 🥰
Good picks can't wait to see your selections and starting your project
I am looking forward to this series😊❤
Hi Diane. Love the new digitals. I use to cross-stitch quite a bit back in the day. I made Christmas stockings and embellished with charms/jewelry and who could forget the cross-stitched birth announcements! Looking forward to going on this journey with you. Hugs.
Excited to see you start working on these journals. Thank you for explaining how you spray water before you emboss. I will try this.
I think these journals will be beautiful! The papers are so pretty!
Pretty papers, but I love the linens and laces!! Enjoy your family time, Diane! Cheers!
Thanks, I love using linens and laces too!
These are going to be beautiful journals!
Love the new embroidery journals!
Yay, thank you!
Hi Diane…I’m a little behind on videos so I’ll have to go check and see what else you’ve done. These are going to be just gorgeous journals. I love the direction you’re heading.
I hope you had a good visit with your grandson. My granddaughter is almost 15 and it’s hard to find time in her family’s schedule to get to see her now that’s she’s older. I guess that’s just how it goes as they grow up.

Thank you, Tammie!
That was neat watching along with you in the daytime process (referencing your comment about the sleep time process you do). I enjoyed seeing all the materials and wonder what you’ll choose for each journal.
That tiny lace edging? I think that’s tatted lace. In the 90’s a friend and I went to Bookstop (remember them?) and we sort of bought books we would do “in our old age”. Welllll, I still have the tatting book. I see it now and then. Open it and just don’t think I’d have the patience for that. Not that I did back when I bought it! So I especially liked the pictures of the ladies working on lace. I never even wanted to try cross-stitch! Would cross my eyes. I have a medium sized piece my mother did of cross-stitch. It’s got an old treadle machine and a bookshelf with neat sewing stuff on it. It’s nice to admire the handwork of others!!
Looking forward to your journal process. ❤
Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment!

Beautiful digital kits! I’m really looking forward to these stitchery journals. Counted cross stitch was my first love of all things crafty.❤ I’m finally getting back into it. Do you know the name of that embossing folder? I have several SU ones but not that one.
It's called "cute crochet". You can buy stampin' up products from their web site. I used to do embroidery, but I don't think I ever tried genuine cross stitch.
Beautiful pages! These will make really lovely journals! Thank you for sharing. Can the embossed pages be be
brushed with distress ink so that the design shows up better?
Yes, I often do that. But I wanted to do something different for the cover pieces. We'll see how they turn out!
