Playing in person is more fun I would say = no boring waiting for an opponent I dont see. But on the other hand... Calculate everything manually is hard sometimes 😆
Thanks for the content; your channel has been very instrumental in getting me up to speed on the Pokemon world and now it's something I can enjoy with my son. Overwatch was my jam too (played since launch) but the change to a live service killed it for me (Ana main here too).

Did my first paper event a few weeks ago and went 1-3 with Miraidon. Every match was close and im looking forward to the next paper event I can make it out to.
As a new player this was super helpful. I've been playing future box but haven't had much luck with it. Thinking about playing a different deck that can use some of those cards

Love Chien Pao. It’s been my main deck for many months. Hasn’t performed well for a while. But it’s really done well since temporal forces.

Totally agree on chein pao. Other players make it look so easy. Played it on ptcgl and found I was struggling what to Ciphermaniac's to the top and work out what energy I would have at the end of superior retrieval

Have you ever had an advantage or disadvantage in a game because of implicit information from not running matching sets of cards in a deck (e.g. shuffling a Pokémon from discard back into the deck with Super Rod and next turn benching the same Pokémon but with different art from the one that was previously shuffled in)?
How do you feel about the sun and moon Lugia ex that’s does ❤20 damage for each energy for both active Pokemon
Do you think there is a way to get Miriadon ex to boost with some of these future decks? I hate that tandem unit Miriadon ex doesn't get energy from future Miriadon
I want to send just the judge part to the whole world. When I was at Charlotte regionals I used radiant greninja with path down and my opponent just yelled at the top of his lungs: JUDGE!!!!. He was hunting for that judge call.
Hey are you still planning to do some gameplay with Alakazam? I've been trying it out and tbh it sucks pretty bad. Would like to see how you play it because I'd like it to be good. I also play miraidon so when I saw the Alakazam deck I noticed the mimikyu and klefki would counter Miraidon really well, but there doesn't seem to be other decks out there that rely on EX and V (and basic abilities) as heavily as miraidon, so I'm just getting beat up by average Pokémon while I wait to evolve Alakazam or wait for an energy to show up.

As a “chien pao god” (I’ve been playing it since release too) I’d say that the charizard matchup is really 50/50 it’s not the worst for charizard like everyone thinks
Depends on who takes the first 4 prizes and even then chien-pao can just go single prize so its maybe 55/45 favoring pao
Id favor pao. between the greninja play early, the fact that zard is not that hard to KO with pao, and boss pidgeot is an easy play. I dont think Zard has as strong of a line of play Vs Pao besides repeatedly playing Iono and hoping that Pao cant take the necessary KOs.
As a charizard player, I would say if the charizard player plays maximum belt, it's 60/40 Charizard. Being able to take the 1st 2 prizes gives charizard the upper hand without a doubt
@@codymuse2386 ninja can take two prizes back fixing the prize trade so may 53/47 if zard plays max belt
I run manaphy and it's one of my first priorities when I see I'm playing chien pao, so I have never ran into that problem
With Meowscarada, I don't fear Charizard. Chien Pao though...is my current nemesis 😆

With Brambelheist [TEF] and Espathra ex 🌿 [PAF] I think Charizard might need some *actual* 🔥 tipe help 'cuz its weak to 🌿 type.

The best part about these cards though they are not as great as the BDIF zard, they still get the edge against it.
