I dont think he'd ever been on a team that was willing to accept he needs more rest; Boston seems to understand that he's gonna miss games, but those can either be because he's injured and will have to heal, or they can be preventative, to keep him fresh and healthy when he IS in the game. And they have chosen the second. Helps having Al sitting at the end of the bench, able to start for, like, 24 teams in the league.
He was immature most of his career... He said it himself in the off-season... That had something to do with it. That and Dallas didn't know how to use him

Anyone else feel like KP is biting on less the last month or so? He seems to be staying on his feet for longer, and it seems to make him much harder to get past; like, Sabonis is no joke, but KP refused his upfakes a number of times, and came away with the ball a bunch just through positioning and keeping that crane of an arm up. He's amazing to watch.

boston has struggled against the zone maybe the past 2-3 years, porzingis changes all that and makes them a very tough team to play zone against.

Ya know , it almost seems unfair that the Celtics , already supremely talented , were able to get The Unicorn .
When he's hitting his threes , and the J's are permitted to slice and dice the paint, then add Jrue and D-White's defense and play making ... its frightening... very frightening!

The bench played the whole 4th against their desperate starters, I could see that surge comin from a mile away. Props to the bench mob for holdin on, that was some kind of flurry by fox they survived.
