I absolutely cannot believe that’s a $45 wig!! I’m a wig wearer too. I’m old and while I have a good amount of hair it’s nowhere near what it used to be. I love the fun of wearing different styles and changing it up. Your wig/hair looks marvelous! Wear that hair and own it!

Love the wig, looks great on you. Dont be afraid to embrace your personnel desires. We only live once. I lost almost all my hair due to many surgeries. I tried everything than saw something on you tube using rosemary. I started to use it and I have to say it does work. I have since put it in all my hair products that I use, shampoo, hair lotion and such. it took about 3 months to notice a difference, so not an overnight cure but it has been about a year now and I get so many compliments on my hair I can't believe it. I was ready to shave my head and get wigs but developed a skin condition and had to use medication and was warned not to wear wigs for a while. So shave your head, wear wigs, ( which you do look great in, no lie), do whatever makes you feel good about yourself because that is what us girls need. And note: Im on row 23 of the flower wreath filet crochet and getting so excited. I can now see the design coming. Thank you, keep up your good work you are an inspiration to us all. Corinna.... I have Fibro, and about 5 other Autoimmune Diseases stemming from a Viral Infection which attacked my Heart, and became Systemic. My hip length thick wavy hair is now just whisps and I had to cut it to my neck and jawline. I bit the bullet and bought a wig. One of the main things I learned was, I like the 'Lace Front Mono Cap' with absolutely no extra perma tease. My favorite is Rachel Welch! Her wigs are so natural and affordable as Wigs go. It took a while to get used to, but I found one that matched my normal hairstyle. It just takes some time getting used to. I have to say... My Summer hat collection has grown. It sucks to lose something that was such a main focus in life, from other's who constantly complimented my hair. And then their are those few who love to ask if you are wearing a wig, while in front of a lot of people....Ughhhh. All I can say is, "embrace the wig!" ❤ P.S. I also used the 'Estroven' Natural Supplement for Hot Flashes and the not so fun panic issues. It helped Amazingly !!!! Then, there is the shower. Start warm and slowly work it towards colder. It stops the panicky feeling. My heart goes out to you ❤ Been there ... For a while. P.S. Check out 'Taz's Wig Reviews'. She is spot on !!! Also: I have been dealing with this for 12 years and did bookoo research, as well as learning from trial and error. Yes, I have half a dozen of her wigs in my cart lol ( on wigs.com) , the same basic styly , just little differences and different colors, sort of a bob with face framing pieces , mono caps, I know they are affordable for wigs, but still quite out of my reach lol , I will have to save up 3-4 months just to afford 1 :) , but will be worth it

My mom wore wigs all the time when her meds caused her to lose her hair The lady at the wig store told mom to sew the lace to the inside of her wig that way she could resell it when she didn’t want that style anymore. You look great in the wig and it makes you shine with happiness 😊

There was a moment there, just at the point of you putting it on, that made your hairline shift that I didn't like it. But I quickly got used to it - within 90 seconds - LOVE it now, & getting Kirstie Alley vibes.
The wig looked great on you. Shaving your head isn't that bad, I lost a lot of hair with menopause and cancer/chemo and most of it didn't come back. When I shaved my head I always said everyday is a great hair day because I had so many more options. If you are unsure about how to get the wig looking just like you want, find a good hair stylist that also does wigs. That is something that a coworker told me, she wore wigs all the time. She said when she first started wearing them her hair stylist, helped her with fitting, cutting the lace and styling them to be what she actually wanted. Can't wait for the sweater video!!
I understand, about not getting out often. I can 100% relate about getting the right words out. It is frustrating when the words do not come, "Brain Fog. Being creative and in the mood to crochet has been on the low for me lately. Made 4 granny squares in 2 weeks. Been sleeping a lot myself. Video games, I am building and furnishing a mansion in Sims 4. Taking my time, with both. My creative side is not present. I know it will return. I do like the new wig you tried on in your short video. Love the colours, looks natural and good on you. 🙂 Hot flashes are nasty. Mine can last a few hours. Some times. Yea on the wig. I think you look wonderful and I love the color on you. I think that would be a great everyday look for you. The picture of you with black hair was okay but I thought the color made you look hard or harsh but I loved the style on you. You are very fortunate that you look good with long or short hair because most don’t. Thanks so much! yeah , it was a bit of an unnerving experience for sure I love the wig, I have to get used to it, I think it may be just a tad small for me as the ear tabs dont go down as far as they should and I cant get them to glue dow and stay down lol, but wearing the hair do ( I was trying to wear it half up) covers the ear tabs fully :)
I watch all of your videos, I like things in different parts, it makes it easier for me to take it in. I love your affectionate banter with Roger, you really made me laugh. I really empathise with how you feel about your hair. I would wear a wig but I get really hot wearing them lol but then, I haven’t ever tried with really short hair which would probably made it easier to wear. I would suggest you buy some wig heads for storing them on so they keep their shape. Also, with the longer styles you may wish to have them dressed by a professional wig fitter. What a pretty colour! You have to do what's right for you. If the wig is comfortable on your scalp, go for it! We women have to find our own way through post-40 years, because it's a looong stage of life that remains much less supported than the younger years, and there's a lot of misinformation out there on the Internet and among doctors. (Don't get me started.) We gals need to help each other through it. So sorry you too are suffering from these symptoms. Sending a big hug (if I may).
Oh my gosh! Hot flashes are the pits. The first few I had I felt like I was going crazy. I have had excellent relief with Anna's Wild Yam Cream from the hot flashes, irritability and interrupted sleep. I would probably be in jail or a lunatic asylum without it. My OBGYN looked at the ingredients and felt it was safe and even asked me where I bought it. I think it is worth the money.
That color looks great on you!! I also love big hair. I remember peri-menopause. I savored being warm for a change since I was ALWAYS cold before that! :D Now, about 12 years later, I'm so happy being through all that stuff! I still have a few hot flashes every so often, though. My hair is receding and it was thin to begin with, I'm losing hair, too. (age is 59)

The wig looks so good! I think you can move it like one finger width lower towards your eyebrows. Use an old photo reference to see where your original hairline was. It looks so good.

Is that a bed jacket? Some of them are beautiful, but i tend to be basic and plain! When i get frustrated, I make pot holders/hot pads that are just square, kitchen cotton, thick and heavy. Hm. I must be frustrated a lot. Lol! Wigs!! I love wigs!! I've worn them off and on all my life and am wearing them again now. Have one on right now. You can do so much with them. I just wear them for fun. My hair is down to my butt, not thin, just average. I just twist my hair at my neck and wind it as i wrap it around into a large, flat bun. After i pin it around and put my wig on, it does really keep it there. Never had a lace front though. Godiva's Secret Wigs has lots of tips and information if youneed it. Videos on everything! I called them my "power surges". Hubs called me a "space heater." "White-hot incandescent heat" was my normal temperature. I joked that I'd need a candy thermometer to measure my temp if I ever got a fever.
Girl! That wig looks amazing on you! Does it make you look different? Yes, it does but most positively. As long as you love it and are comfortable in it then go for it!
I have a different perception of 2 part videos. Some people do not crochet quickly at all. And I personally go a lot slower with a tutorial, so maybe don’t check the numbers on part two for 4-6 months for something so involved. You might get surprised later and get close to what you had with part one. Yes some people will quit. But some may take quite a while to catch up. I think you are doing great :). As far as hair. Mine has been falling out for well over 20 years between my chronic illness and my terminal one and all of my surgeries and hormones and…and. But I have not been able to bring myself to cut it and I can’t even think of affording a wig. But whatever makes you feel good is always good :)

I must say that your 'hot' experience can also be a gift from the Hashimoto's... and imbalanced hormones.... also a Hashimoto's effect. Just because people that have no patience does not mean that there are those of us who do watch multi part videos. I would like a 'refresher course' regarding crochet. While I was waiting on other people I pulled out some yarn and it took a bit, I still do not think I am doing things as well as the last time I crocheted. I would rather take the time to ensure I am doing things correctly and safely so my wrists and hands do not sustain any additional injuries. .... Another wig thought... I know you want to cut the netting.... do not be too quick to cut it all off. trim... a bit at a time.... you will always be able to cut more off, but would you be able to put more on? Yes, the panic attack feeling before hot flashes. Not much on the internet about it. But now that you know what it is, it is easier to deal with. Buy some hand fans and carry them with you.

There's probably a very good reason, but I'd be devastated to mess that part up! Did the grip strip remove easily? Is the wig hot? Are there any high end wig shops within a reasonable distance from you? You might learn some good tips if you go in without your wig, just for a consultation. So sweet that your son wants to grow his hair for a wig for you! A true expression of his love for you! Surprised to hear that two-part turorials don't do well. If I'm not interested in both parts, I'm likely not interested in doing the project so probably didn't watch the first part. But I just finished a cute Christmas tree skirt from a two-part tutorial. You caught my interest in that cape with just a glimpse of the pic! Will the pattern be in your shop even if you don't post the tutorial? Corinna, I'm going to be brutally honest now: you look totally awesome in that wig! Yeah, yeah, you gotta cut that lace but once that's done, no one would be able to tell that's a wig, no way! I can't get over that the hair is synthetic, not natural! It moves like hair, it looks like hair! It def does not look like Barbie hair! I'm so jealous! I always wanted big hair, too but I've had thin, baby-fine hair my whole life. And I've lost so much of my hair in the front (never the back, I swear!) from underactive thyroid, various medications, and now menopause that didn't all grow back! Hair loss, for me anyway, is very damaging to my self esteem & makes me depressed. I can't afford even the $42 synthetic wig you're so rockin' in this vid so I'll just make the best of it with what hair I have left. I can't get over that your viewings drop when you do 2-part videos! I get all excited! I get behind sometimes on my video watching but I catch up. I LOVE your vids, ALL of them! Oh! And your teeth aren't as discolored as you think they are. Mine were really bad so I decided to try that purple stuff that's supposed to colour correct the yellow. They also sell a whitener that's a powder you brush your teeth with: that worked better for me than the purple gel stuff. First time I used the purple... nothin'! First time I used the powder in the pink jar... incredible lightening of my teeth. I'm so thrilled with the difference in the colour of my teeth! The wig looks awesome on you! I wouldn’t be able to tell if I didn’t know it was one. Hot flashes suck mine go one for hours and you feel like you cooking 😂. I have pain issues and I can’t deal with my hair so I have been wanting to shave my head and just wear wigs too because I don’t go anywhere very much either. I shaved off everything but the top and that way I could let it down and it was a bob but I couldn’t keep up with it cuz my hair grows too fast. I really wish I could gift you my hair. And I really like the wig and I don’t think anyone would know it unless they really stared and looked to see of it was but I love the color and style on you it’s really pretty.
Suggestion, before you delete the file, try converting the Mov file to a supported file type like mp4 for the video editing software. If it does support Mov, and after converting it doesn't work, more likely the file will be corrupted. I use HandBrake, for converting video from nearly any format and its free. Hope this helps. 🙂
Merlin would like to “see” your wig! Lol. I wear my hair in a very short pixie because I have a lot of curly hair and it’s mostly salt these days. I’ve always wanted to shave my head. Yes, I have half a dozen of her wigs in my cart lol ( on wigs.com) , the same basic styly , just little differences and different colors, sort of a bob with face framing pieces , mono caps, I know they are affordable for wigs, but still quite out of my reach lol , I will have to save up 3-4 months just to afford 1 :) , but will be worth it

My mom wore wigs all the time when her meds caused her to lose her hair The lady at the wig store told mom to sew the lace to the inside of her wig that way she could resell it when she didn’t want that style anymore. You look great in the wig and it makes you shine with happiness 😊

The wig looked great on you. Shaving your head isn't that bad, I lost a lot of hair with menopause and cancer/chemo and most of it didn't come back. When I shaved my head I always said everyday is a great hair day because I had so many more options. If you are unsure about how to get the wig looking just like you want, find a good hair stylist that also does wigs. That is something that a coworker told me, she wore wigs all the time. She said when she first started wearing them her hair stylist, helped her with fitting, cutting the lace and styling them to be what she actually wanted. Can't wait for the sweater video!!

I love the wig, I have to get used to it, I think it may be just a tad small for me as the ear tabs dont go down as far as they should and I cant get them to glue dow and stay down lol, but wearing the hair do ( I was trying to wear it half up) covers the ear tabs fully :)

I watch all of your videos, I like things in different parts, it makes it easier for me to take it in. I love your affectionate banter with Roger, you really made me laugh. I really empathise with how you feel about your hair. I would wear a wig but I get really hot wearing them lol but then, I haven’t ever tried with really short hair which would probably made it easier to wear.
I would suggest you buy some wig heads for storing them on so they keep their shape. Also, with the longer styles you may wish to have them dressed by a professional wig fitter.

When I saw the thumbnail with you wearing your new hair, my thoughts were WOW !!! head blown, you look amazing, the photo of you with shorter hair is gorgeous, maybe have it cut like that again as it will help you with hot flushes and with wearing your new hair, mine went from just past my shoulders to a jaw length bob and now it's quite short all over. What a pretty colour! You have to do what's right for you. If the wig is comfortable on your scalp, go for it! We women have to find our own way through post-40 years, because it's a looong stage of life that remains much less supported than the younger years, and there's a lot of misinformation out there on the Internet and among doctors. (Don't get me started.) We gals need to help each other through it. So sorry you too are suffering from these symptoms. Sending a big hug (if I may).

Oh my gosh! Hot flashes are the pits. The first few I had I felt like I was going crazy. I have had excellent relief with Anna's Wild Yam Cream from the hot flashes, irritability and interrupted sleep. I would probably be in jail or a lunatic asylum without it. My OBGYN looked at the ingredients and felt it was safe and even asked me where I bought it. I think it is worth the money.

I remember peri-menopause. I savored being warm for a change since I was ALWAYS cold before that! :D Now, about 12 years later, I'm so happy being through all that stuff! I still have a few hot flashes every so often, though. My hair is receding and it was thin to begin with, I'm losing hair, too. (age is 59)

When i get frustrated, I make pot holders/hot pads that are just square, kitchen cotton, thick and heavy. Hm. I must be frustrated a lot. Lol!
Wigs!! I love wigs!! I've worn them off and on all my life and am wearing them again now. Have one on right now. You can do so much with them. I just wear them for fun. My hair is down to my butt, not thin, just average. I just twist my hair at my neck and wind it as i wrap it around into a large, flat bun. After i pin it around and put my wig on, it does really keep it there. Never had a lace front though. Godiva's Secret Wigs has lots of tips and information if youneed it. Videos on everything! Good luck with your wig! They're so much fun. Your husband will like them too! 😂 The bandanas are cute! No shame, no judgement! 💕💕💕

I called them my "power surges".
Hubs called me a "space heater."
"White-hot incandescent heat" was my normal temperature. I joked that I'd need a candy thermometer to measure my temp if I ever got a fever.

I have a different perception of 2 part videos. Some people do not crochet quickly at all. And I personally go a lot slower with a tutorial, so maybe don’t check the numbers on part two for 4-6 months for something so involved. You might get surprised later and get close to what you had with part one. Yes some people will quit. But some may take quite a while to catch up. I think you are doing great :). As far as hair. Mine has been falling out for well over 20 years between my chronic illness and my terminal one and all of my surgeries and hormones and…and. But I have not been able to bring myself to cut it and I can’t even think of affording a wig. But whatever makes you feel good is always good :)

You might consider instead of shaving your hair off, trying getting a short hair cut that you would enjoy on days you don’t feel like doing the wig. The wig looks good not only because it brightened your spirit, but it matches your personality too. I must say that your 'hot' experience can also be a gift from the Hashimoto's... and imbalanced hormones.... also a Hashimoto's effect. Just because people that have no patience does not mean that there are those of us who do watch multi part videos. I would like a 'refresher course' regarding crochet. While I was waiting on other people I pulled out some yarn and it took a bit, I still do not think I am doing things as well as the last time I crocheted. I would rather take the time to ensure I am doing things correctly and safely so my wrists and hands do not sustain any additional injuries. .... Another wig thought... I know you want to cut the netting.... do not be too quick to cut it all off. trim... a bit at a time.... you will always be able to cut more off, but would you be able to put more on? Looking forward to your next tutorial and mystery item.

Yes, the panic attack feeling before hot flashes. Not much on the internet about it. But now that you know what it is, it is easier to deal with. Buy some hand fans and carry them with you.

Agree that your pic is great at 37:30. Being me, I do have a couple of stupid questions. Wonder why they don't cut the lace at the factory? There's probably a very good reason, but I'd be devastated to mess that part up! Did the grip strip remove easily? Is the wig hot? Are there any high end wig shops within a reasonable distance from you? You might learn some good tips if you go in without your wig, just for a consultation. So sweet that your son wants to grow his hair for a wig for you! A true expression of his love for you!
Surprised to hear that two-part turorials don't do well. If I'm not interested in both parts, I'm likely not interested in doing the project so probably didn't watch the first part. But I just finished a cute Christmas tree skirt from a two-part tutorial. You caught my interest in that cape with just a glimpse of the pic! Corinna, I'm going to be brutally honest now: you look totally awesome in that wig! Yeah, yeah, you gotta cut that lace but once that's done, no one would be able to tell that's a wig, no way! I can't get over that the hair is synthetic, not natural! It moves like hair, it looks like hair! It def does not look like Barbie hair! I'm so jealous! I always wanted big hair, too but I've had thin, baby-fine hair my whole life. And I've lost so much of my hair in the front (never the back, I swear!) from underactive thyroid, various medications, and now menopause that didn't all grow back! Hair loss, for me anyway, is very damaging to my self esteem & makes me depressed. I can't afford even the $42 synthetic wig you're so rockin' in this vid so I'll just make the best of it with what hair I have left.
I can't get over that your viewings drop when you do 2-part videos! I get all excited! I get behind sometimes on my video watching but I catch up. I LOVE your vids, ALL of them!
Oh! And your teeth aren't as discolored as you think they are. Mine were really bad so I decided to try that purple stuff that's supposed to colour correct the yellow. They also sell a whitener that's a powder you brush your teeth with: that worked better for me than the purple gel stuff. First time I used the purple... nothin'! First time I used the powder in the pink jar... incredible lightening of my teeth. I'm so thrilled with the difference in the colour of my teeth! But anyway, you might want to try something like that before you go to the expense of veneers.

The wig looks awesome on you! I wouldn’t be able to tell if I didn’t know it was one. Hot flashes suck mine go one for hours and you feel like you cooking 😂. I have pain issues and I can’t deal with my hair so I have been wanting to shave my head and just wear wigs too because I don’t go anywhere very much either. I shaved off everything but the top and that way I could let it down and it was a bob but I couldn’t keep up with it cuz my hair grows too fast. I really wish I could gift you my hair. And I really like the wig and I don’t think anyone would know it unless they really stared and looked to see of it was but I love the color and style on you it’s really pretty.
Suggestion, before you delete the file, try converting the Mov file to a supported file type like mp4 for the video editing software. If it does support Mov, and after converting it doesn't work, more likely the file will be corrupted. I use HandBrake, for converting video from nearly any format and its free. Hope this helps.
