This is the second video I have been able to view of you doing your skin care routine. Slugging is not a term I've heard before. Would you mind explaining that? Also I noticed that you use a downward motion when putting on lotions. I was taught that pulling the skin down, especially as we age , can help our skin lose electricity and age quicker. Is that something that you have heard?

Hiya Corrina, The lighting when u closed the Blinds was perfect as I could see all colours of yr makeup and you clearly, the ring light seemed too bright if u know wot I mean. That Motif look so good. I love yr make up uses and trials, you would look gorgeous in anything hun.❣️

I got a late notification for this video, but I'm still thankful I got one at all! I love hanging with you! As a rule, once I buy something on Amazon, I just leave the purchasing in the past. I'll get emails asking for reviews, but I ignore them. The more you interact, the more they'll try to market to you, and I've never been a fan of marketing. It's like, I gave you money, you gave me a product, now leave me alone! And for binge watching, I'm getting into the first 6 seasons of Sesame Street. I know, I'll be 55 in January, and they've already taught me these things, but I have a particular attachment to the show, in that it's how I taught myself to read at a young age. They presented the information, and I drew my own conclusions. I entered kindergarten reading about as well as a 5th grader, thanks to them. But I'm not sure I like the first season; Oscar was originally orange, and Big Bird was shaped like a cone, he didn't have a round head in the beginning. See you soon!

The redness on your face looks like my rosacea when it flares. I have autoimmune issues and during my research I remember there being a link between rosacea and autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto. My skin gets red instantly when I touch it and it is very sensitive to most skin care and extremely dry all the time. La Roche Posay Lipikar face wash, Sea Buckthorn oil and rose water spray have helped me a lot.

I'm a big fan of Oil of Olay hydration oil too, I've been using it since the early 90's, I'm in my early 50's so it's been a long time, and I stopped using eye liner years ago, it doesn't look that flattering anymore, it looks better on the younger generation. I'm so old. Thanks for sharing your daily cosmic routine, it's always good to get new ideas.

I just love your videos, you’re so chill and good vibes. Anywho, in the building I work in, we have a cafe that has a sign that if we leave a 5-Star review on Google, we can get a free coffee and it immediately irritated me. I refuse to leave a disingenuous review. Even though I like the cafe, I now won’t review it because they’re buying reviews. My initial thought was that should be illegal! So, I’m with you here.

I Love Clinique! I have been using it for years. And isn't that mascara the best? It is a little pricey - but it's so good. I have found another brand of face cleanser that I will but. It is also gentle yet thorough. Have you ever used and Soap and Glory products?

Thank you for sharing your processes and opinions about face care. I am turning 50 in about a month and don't wear makeup often but I love seeing these tips and tricks 😊

I used to work for Clinique years ago…the High Impact mascara is my favourite too. Could I suggest that you use a microfibre cloth to remove your makeup instead of the paper towels. It’s much more gentle on your skin and is very effective in removing makeup. When you’re done just rinse it out thoroughly and it’s ready for the next day. You can just throw it in the wash to give it a good cleaning. PS: Merlin is so cute

Pretty Sweater!! The flower makes it !! I like the not so Bright light when you closed the curtain a bit and no ring light too bright can't see but the natural light with curtain a jar was perfect !! Can see the color of makeup better , question ?? What are your thoughts on the Laura Geller foundation powder ?? It says it adjustes to complexion ??? I'm a Ponds and Olay user too !! Only thing that I think is good , love the background and the soft lights looks nice !! excited bout Doiley blanket !!

I went to the TirTir website and got the a sample pack to find my color. It worked great. The consistency of using a the cushion is different but it enabled me to get the perfect match colorwise.

Love the lights in the background, but you should have the blinds more closed because there is too much light on you, especially with the white screen behind you. You will get the right light balance eventually, keep at it.

Fitst, LOVE the sweater! Awesome job, it looks beautiful. Second, leave the orange lights on, they give a nice background glow. Third, I would definitely bring up the COVID therory with James' doctors and care teams; we as a society are still trying to figure out the full impact and spectrum that disease is having on our health. Next, the eye bump: I work at an ophthalmology office and know you would be told to continue to use warm compresses and gentle baby shampoo on you eyelid. It may be a chalazion. As long as it is not causing you pain, you don't need to worry. If it does start causing you pain, I suggest seeing an eye specialist who can prescribe you medication to help "express" it out (sorry if that is too gross), or do an in office draining of it. You may have to skip wearing makeup for a bit if that happens. Next, I watched your video of the second try of that mystery pattern and you nailed it this time! Woot! Woot! And finally, (sorry this is so long) please be gentle with your self speak. We all have defects that we wish we could change, or were different, but we -myself included- need to be careful of how we speak to and about ourselves, and love our flaws. No flower ever stopped being beautiful just because of a few imperfect petals. You my friend are a beautiful rose in the garden of life! Embrace your inner and outer beauty. 💕💕🌹🌹🥰 P.S. Your sweater is GORJUSS, amazing for a first knit - you'll be rockin Fair Isle soon 😉 Your "studio" looks great and the lights at the back are just fine, they are real pretty. I was a big Clinique fan back in the day when I was still working corporate and could afford it, my favourite was the face soap, and it used to last a loooong time too. The last time I purchased a Clinique product I received a freebie sample size mascara and a lipstick - well now - 10 yrs later I still have a little nubby of that lipstick left and it is fantabulous - 10 years !!! Must admit tho, I only use it maybe 2 or 3 times a month - I work from home the last 6 yrs or so and only make up if I go into town. And for the last number of years I clean my face with coconut oil, its wonderful - now at 61 yrs old I don't have many wrinkles at all but what to do about the rapidly forming jowls and turkey neck 🥴😂 But as they say, embrace your age, growing old is a pleasure denied many 💜✌

The lights in the background are fine

I love the background especially the fairy lights not distracting at all! Is Merlin camera shy? If so whip out that camera when he barks😂😂. I might try Ponds my grandma used it. But working remotely o don’t do makeup unless I have an appointment away from the “ office “

You did a great job on the sweater! You'll have it for years to come, I'm sure. I like the videos on this channel, not necessarily because of the content (a full beard will cover the neck thing, by the way), but because it feels like I'm visiting you. And I bring along a knitting project while you speak. You have a charming home, and I like the new setup. Don't you dare do away with the orange lights, no matter how many people don't like them. They're an extension of your creativity. Besides, it's your home, they don't live there. From my limited time in musical theater, I learned that baby wipes are very effective in removing makeup. If it can disintegrate pancake makeup, I'm sure it will be able to break down what you're using. You can even use it around your eyes safely. You could keep a tub of them handy, in case the nightly regimen doesn't suit you timewise. The cold cream does work, yes, but I can't speak about it, as I have no experience in the matter. I'm already looking forward to my next visit with you.

I have not had Covid but have had the jabs. Now I have permanent severe headaches. My neurologist thinks it is due to the jabs

Your sweater is lovely

Just a suggestion, if you place the screen right behind you while you film it would look like you are in a totally different room and it would hide the yarn wall since this is a makeup tutorial video. That way you wouldn’t have to remember to close it since you can just walk behind it. Just a thought. 😊
