Ash, as a fellow scientist, although I dismissed you at the beginning, perhaps it’s a calibration error with your instruments! Set your spectroscopes at a wavelength between 0.5 and 2.5 micrometer, those wavelengths should coincide with a variety of different iron ores, and IF there’s something there, you might be able to detect it
Oh right thank you, I think I set my spectroscopes to look at millimeters instead of micrometers. Rookie mistake. Should be able to get a better idea of what we’re looking at soon once I adjust everythint
