Smashing, just ordered a couple of new spheres and collected all tool required. Will do this on my lunch break tomorrow. Driving from Sydney to Melbourne for the weekend. Looking forward to the smooth ride.
Hi I've only recently purchased my 1992 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit 11 with active ride, how many spheres are there to change please, are there 2 in the boot? Thanks in advance
Hey flying spares, can you all do a video tutorial on changing out a Bentley Turbo R ignition coupling switch? To include removal of lower dash, disassembly and reassembly after done? Thanks in advance
@@jackkallemdjian3945 Yes with the grease canister standing on the customers expensive luggage room carpet It is a Wilton carpet most people can not afford to have them on flours at home If grease was needed R-R would have provided the correct type Use LHM only
You guys need to take this video down as it is not representative of what’s actually involved in doing this project. Also you do not discuss some of the issues that someone might run into and there’s no audio
I did this 8 years ago on my 96 Brooklands and I had a terrible job removing the spheres. There's also some curled piping in the way that I removed. I also seem to remember that I did bleed the system by using the bleed screw (just one on the 96). My rear suspension has always seemed hard unlike the Rolls so I don't know if that's normal or not. Oh and there's definitely spillage so use plenty of paper towels.

Well that saved thousands of dollars..thnx
Nice and informative Thanks!
Good job!
Any tutorials on replacing the Spur/Spirit front accumulator spheres?
Front does not have spheres!!!!
@mutleybird
Almost same work just release pressure using the bleed screw on the valve next to the Sphere with a 12 ring key
just watching this brilliant tutorial but i think you are tapping in clockwise direction

A++++ video!
You should never grease the rubber components, it will eat away at them. Use LHM only.
Anno Domini he used special rubber grease
use Vaseline does the same job but doesn't eat the rubber

Yes and a warning about the oil leak in the trunk of the car removing the old Sphere
Remove the carpet is a great start
Not remove PROTECT the carpet under the Sphere it is not easy to blead oil out of them completely
