I believe, the protective cardboard are so that the made to move knee does not leave a mark on the pants, in time. Lavender pants is not gonna stain a very dark colored plastic.
These newly designed dolls are lovely and the colors are very appealing yet I know the makeover is going to be super! I too like lighter hues of color but there could be more variety of colors used such as yellow, aqua, mint, cantaloupe or even taupe in metallic is nice too.
My fav is the redhead but I don’t think I’ll get her this time because of her serious expression, I’m more into cute girls, I love her but I know I won’t give her the love she deserves 😢 I also like the blonde of this line too ❤ the whole color scheme of this line is so cute!
I brought Heidi, Andra and Lina and didn’t even notice the differences in their arm color but I’m going to check. They are my favs and I brought Victoria but returned her because i thought her head looked to big on her body. Can’t wait to see their makeovers.
I have Looks #24 and I washed her hair and her bangs still look good and they stay flat. My secret is gently washing the hair without rubbing it and making her wear a hat to flatten one annoying strand that didn't lay down with the rest. The bangs look great now!
It is a good solid line this time. I think Simone may be my favorite curvy girl ever. Of course my favorite is the red head :) I have not ordered them as of yet, but hope to soon if it's not too late!
Great video! I think the dolls overall are the cutest since Wave 1 (especially Lina, Braids, and Andra aka Daphne). I'm still annoyed that handsome Buff Ken is the same skin tone as the only other AA Looks Ken (Wave 1 Jon) -- it limits our rebodying options. Can't wait to see what you do to that mushroom on top of his head...😏😄

I love this series. My favorite is the redhead, she has the best outfit and I love red hair. The petit girl actually surprised me the most because she has such a pretty face and make-up. I wished there were bit more variation on the colors, and maybe more pastels like a mint green, a peach and a ice blue. Outfits are bit simple but that's fine, just prefer the ones that have separate pieces so you have more mix and match options. All and all I think this is a good wave for Barbie Looks.
I would say this has been the best line for the Looks dolls. Also love the fashion this time, and thank you for referencing the 90s Versace. Can't wait for them to go to thr salon for restyling!

I've been waiting for these for forever it feels like!! I bought the blonde Lina and the redhead Andra and the redhead is my fave for sure! I absolutely can't stand when the heels bend like those cute pink boots, that's disappointing. I've seen Simone rebodied on a regular MTM body and she looks much better in my opinion, it seems to suit her head/face more. I just hate her bangs, I wish Mattel could do like a longer side-swept style of bangs instead of always that straight across fringe. Might grab her when she goes on sale. I am super looking forward to your makeovers on these beauties :)

I think Simone looks like Nikki Minaj. The box dye hair color for her is called honey brown. I definitely purchased her. My pet peeve was that the knees are a different shade on several of the dolls. My sister says human knees are also a different shade… I still don’t like it.
Lina ALWAYS got them different shade in the arms. The first wave brunette Lina also having this different shade problem 🤦🏻♀️ I’d love to say they normalize using white as standard color for their stand is *chef kiss*. The black one just looking cheap for some reasons.
I love this line. I had to restyle Ken's hair first thing, the mop top was not the vibe for me. Luckily my Lina and Victoria's limbs are consistent in color. I'm surprised how much I like Lina and Simone IRL, they didn't seem that impressive to me until I had them in hand. Victoria is my least favorite of this group, sadly. But I still think she's very cute, and her hair restyled nicely.

Hot take: I don’t like any of the Looks girls. The outfits and hairstyles are too basic and I’m not a fan of the made to move bodies with the joints everywhere. However, I LOVE the Looks Kens! Yeah their outfits are also pretty basic, but it makes more sense on a Ken doll and it’s much easier to swap out another tshirt and pair of pants than restyling a whole new look for Barbie. But what I really love is the successful rooted hair!!! Seriously if the Fashionista Kens had rooted hair like these I’d be over the moon! I’m definitely gonna get this Ken, for sure. That hair just needs to be picked out, but really I love the pants and shoes and the shirt isn’t awful.

Victoria's head was originally made for a tall body, the Victoria face mold is a little large head, it definitely DOES NOT fit the short/petite body, because it ends up looking big-headed, balloon-headed 🤷🏻♂️...it needs to AT LEAST be on the standard body 🙏😂🙏

I proberly gonne get the red head with her long boots, and the blond one with her blue dress, and buff Ken these three are my favorits and maybe i will get the the petit girl (she reminds me of someone) and the dark Barbie with her pink skirt and top. Victoria's head was originally made for a tall body, the Victoria face mold is a little large head, it definitely DOES NOT fit the short/petite body, because it ends up looking big-headed, balloon-headed 🤷🏻♂️...it needs to AT LEAST be on the standard body
