Since the Tori and Michael story is told in separate book, the creator didn’t want to include it in heartstopper, as it would take too much away from the rest and is not related to most of the characters. May it’ll be its own movie fingers crossed!
That would be so cool! I really hope they will. Partly because I only half remember the book :D But I think they're really adorable with each other and Tori is such an intriguing character to explore. Most watchers seem to adore her character in Heartstopper so I think there's a chance
It was established in season 2 (at the truth or dare game) that Sahar and Imogen used to be friends before the show started and had a falling out when Imogen got a boyfriend. So that flashback in the tent was them as friends when they were little.
I actually love Michael. He's quirky and really endearing in these scenes. And I love how Tori doesn't give a flying feather about explaining him to anyone and just keeps whisking him off, have him stay over and wake her brother up lol
Michael is the sweetest. And his quirks match Tori's. Speaking of which, when she and Michael came to Charlie and Nick's tent, she was wearing Michael's jumper. Like brother like sister. 😊 Also, does Charlie's mom have a sixth sense for whenever he is having fun, so she can put a stop to that right away. 'I sense you're happy. Stop it!" 🙄
yeah i think so too, i think their plan is probably to have a seperate adaptation for solitaire and to show tori & michaels progression/early stages that were not shown in heartstopper seperately since it wasnt in the comics either (obviously as theyre about other storylines). i really hope they'll greenlight a solitaire sequel to the show, tori is my favorite character & id love to see her story on screen as well

i love that the drama is never between the relationships, just things about life. im so tired of tv shows making couples break up for no reason at all

I think they skipped the Tori romance because that would mean adapting Tori’s whole book I guess

I think Alice has has said that they are hoping to make a movie for Solitaire and/or that they might include Tori’s story in season 4 if we get one 🙏
