Every NATO country should be spending 3% of GDP on Defense at minimum.

NATO is performing better than it did a decade ago; however, the question remains: Is this sufficient for the long term (over the next 10, 25 years, and beyond)?
Rational, democracy-oriented, and non-imperialistic states should and must unite to establish a Global Earth Defense Alliance, eventually progressing to a Solar Alliance for Governance and Security on Earth and in Space. These alliances would focus on collaboration and proactive measures, such as intelligence gathering, clarification efforts, signal reconnaissance, and initiatives like a world police force, a nuclear deterrence pact, a nuclear defense alliance, a military coalition, and the establishment of a stable global order. Their ultimate goal would be to prevent mafioso, imperialistic, dictatorial, and/or terrorist ambitions from taking root.
As long as the United Nations remains vulnerable to mafioso, imperialistic, dictatorial, and/or terrorist influences, it cannot be relied upon to carry out this critical responsibility.
NATO is doing well and remains the best we have today. Let us support NATO and initiatives like an "Asian NATO" as a starting point. However, we must never stop striving for improvement-for the sake of our children and future generations.
