In the song though, he writes as if it's a specific beautiful woman whom he calls "La Bikina". I believed it was kind of a joke from her little daughter who said that women wearing a bikini should be call "Bikinas".
Hugo Cantu even more. The music was the theme for an old TV show in the US. The author only called it “The Beginning”. Lyrics came later: “La Bikina” being a woman wearing a bikini is a bit forced but was a cool word that actually sounded a bit like “beginning”. Then it became a hit.
