Martin, you are wonderful. While searching on how to tie the knot of Isis it has been a night mere. Being a visual learner it has been very hard for the perfect person like you to explain and show the details. May, Isis and Jesus bless you and your love ones.
This is not to disparage or discourage but that is not the knot from which the tyet hieroglyph got its form. The knot you produced is interesting. A lighter color would help to see how you tie it. Pun is not intended. I studied the ancient images and reproduced the tyet object around 2015 or 2016. It's an interesting device that involves a knot. I'm glad to see your interest to have tried to reproduce it. I can send you a pdf.
Hi Martin, If I may make a suggestion, if you decide to remake this video perhaps you will be kind enough to use a lighter color (even white) as it is hard to see how the folds lay as the black all blends in together. Also perhaps using the Tyet as a belt knot. However I was also thinking that the Tyet may not have been used as a belt knot, but perhaps was tied separately and used to secure the belt much like a buckle.
I agree. Please, Martin - if you know how to tie, please, make a video with tutorial. Not poetic "dance with black ribbon" where no one can see how the finished knot looks.
I really need to revisit my foundation so I can understand how to properly and effectively use this. I just feel that there are more useful tools one can use for my perceived purpose of this knot. I may be mistaken, but unless you work directly with Isis or an associated entity, there wouldn't be much purpose in using this over another symbol or spell.

The ladies used to tie their hair in the style of The Knot of Isis, to honour her! Especially during ritual, wonderful!
Very gracefully accomplished....wonderful, simple project
