Great addition tonyour operation! Like what you did to the bladders. I use the bladders for scraps, works great for that too! Keep up the great work Andy!
sharpening the cutting edges with an angel grinder might make the boxwedge cut better with less waste. Chris, from in the woodyard sharpened his single wedge and that was a night and day difference.
@@outdoorswithandy732 Andy I have to confess something. My old log splitter blew up. I found a 3-month-old county line 25 ton log splitter for 950 bucks. The guy also had a brand new Echo cs590 timberwolf chainsaw with a 20-in bar. $1,275 couldn't pass it up. I bought it
@@outdoorswithandy732 I paid the guy 50 bucks to deliver it it will be here Tuesday morning. I'll probably make a video of it. How has life been treating you my friend?
Those box wedges are awesome. I like the bladders and the shirt too!
The bladders make it so much easier. And the shirt is so comfortable it's unreal.

That's what's nice about those bladders they have so many different uses.
Yes the do!
Nice job Andy, thanks for the shout out! That box wedge makes short work of that pile. Be safe!
Nice addition there Andy, I have the 7way box wedge for my 12-22 split for hours in 90+temps never got over 125 👍👍🇺🇸
Good deal and thank you

I will give that a try thanks for the advice
Great addition. Get a squirrel cage fan and blow on the hydraulic tank to cool it down. Won’t fix getting hot but will cool down faster
Amazing machine, especially with the box wedge!
Yes it is, I fully agree with you
Hopefully you have lots of big straight grain rounds for your box wedge
Wow that vanguard motor seams way stronger than the old 9-16 great addition
That vanguard is a really good motor, they just need a little tlc every once in a while
please, what is the outer diameter of the hydraulic piston and other dimensions, thank you
Honestly I'm not sure, I have an idea, but if your in a time crunch people at eastonmade would answering any questions you might have.
It's good to see that those crotchy pieces being run through that machine so easily. Keep up the great videos
Yes it does really well using the single wedge.

Wow this log splitter is so much faster than your old one.
The box wedge really changes things for Andy.
Yes it does in multiple ways
@@thefirewooddoctor hey Doc how are you today
@@bentwedgestanleybrand5818, doing fine. Waiting on the call from Wolfe Ridge.
@@thefirewooddoctor hey Doc getting Daniel Atkins out west order one of those too
Nice and how much for a splitter like this one?
I believe I seen the other day, these are upward of $10k now.
What size are the inside splits on that box wedge? How do said inside splits look as campfire firewood?
Honestly I haven't measured them but I think Andrew said 5-5.5" I do have to respect some of them but not bad at all
Hi Andy. Did you actually buy this unit, or did the Canadian dude strike again with another TH-cam firewood guy?
Na I've owned this splitter for over a year now, one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Eastonmade makes it look so easy.
Yes it does, and the best part is, it actually is just as easy to operate.
hi there well done john
