This looks like a nice kit, I built Monograms 1:48 scale B-26; quite a few years ago, I thought that was nicely detailed and as far as I could tell accurate. I wonder how this kit, as is out of the box competes to it.
Looks good. I will wait to see a build before I get it. Curious to see how well clear parts fit and the fit of engine nacelles to bottom of the wing. I don’t think there will be a gap as big as the old monogram kit, hoping for a good tight fit. Cheers
I'm glad they didn't do rivets on it!! They are not needed at this scale. The manufacturers that do rivets at this scale, rarely, if ever get it right. It's almost always over-done. Look at any picture of a real B-26 and you'll be challenged if you can see a single rivet.
There is a nice ICM paint set to go with it. I do query the price, was expecting it more near the £50 mark, like the Sally, but I guess energy and material costs in Ukraine are going up, hardly surprising.
This aircraft is bigger than a Ki-21 Sally . There's more plastic to make this big Marauder kit, there are complex parts and the box size is deeper. Most of Ukraine is plugged into the EU power grid now and they get their plastic for injection molding from Poland. I got this kit from Poland to California for $77 including shipping (Exito).
This Aircraft was nicknamed the Widomaker. The B26 had a high wing loading and would stall in a heartbeat. Many US Pilots were lost in training exercises before making it to the ETO
Love the sleek lines of the flying cigar
I wouldnt worry about doing riveting. The real aircraft had them covered so is pretty smooth.
Ive been looking at some close up photos and couldnt see any rivets

Would be very nice if ICM were to release a B-26G with the later wing. 👍

Guess you've never seen a real one then eh.

This aircraft was flush riveted, and they are hard to see even close up on the real plane. No need to add rivets
good point think he is being a bit too finicky!

Great looking Kit and Review , might have to add it to the collection
How big is the model when made please ?
38.7cm Long, with a wing span of 45.4cm
You should improve the quality of the camera, the details are not appreciated
greetings .
Thank you, guy.
