Rescuing 40,000 Bees in Nelson University Building

Nelson University (formerly SAGU) has had a honeybee hive in the soffit of a registered historic building for years. When the Texas heat caused the bees to forage water near the students below, they called for support. This old hive has been there for years, and the amount of bees we found above the ceiling inside the building was astonishing! Of course, the hive was also on the top floor, which meant we spent 2 days above ground in a lift for save the bees. #beekeeping #honeybees #beerescue #beeremoval
