CUMIN SEEDS | जीरा 1 TSP
CAROM SEEDS | अजवाइन 1 TSP (haath mei daalke crush kar lunga)
SALT | नमक TO TASTE
OIL | तेल 2-3 TBSP
WATER | पानी 1/2 CUP + 3 TBSP
Green Chutney
Ingredients:
MINT | पुदीना 1/2 CUP
FRESH CORIANDER | हरा धनिया 3/4 CUP
RAW MANGO | कैरी 1/2 NOS.
TAMARIND | इमली LEMON SIZED
GREEN CHILLI | हरी मिर्च 6-7 NOS
GINGER | अदरक 1 INCH
ONION | प्याज़ 1 NOS.
JAGGERY | गुड़ 1 TBSP
CUMIN POWDER | जीरा पाउडर 1 TSP
BLACK SALT | काला नमक 1/2 TSP
SALT | नमक TO TASTE
ICE CUBES | बर्फ 1-2 NOS.
WATER | पानी AS REQUIRED
EXTRA NOTES
To make beetroot onions, just slice the onions as required into extremely thin roundels using a mandolin & grate a small amount of beetroot over them & mix it well.
To make boiled green chillies, simply boil the chillies in water along with a pinch of turmeric & salt to taste.

Wow. For the first time, I'm seeing someone as a non Sindhi person making absolutely phenomenal way of making our Sindhi authentic dal pakwaan. It's a simple yet tricky recipe but you presented it in an amazing form. 💕💕💕💕💕
I made this, but the dal thickened as it cooled so i was left with just three blobs on a plate, the only way to make this is to serve it fresh from the stove.

Being a sindhi , very grateful this recipe has been brought in the most authentic style. Although in many sindhi households, people just avoid preparing 3 dals because of the effort and time it takes to prepare. Thank you chef!❤
I have had Dal Pakwan in Ulhasnagar, they just got with the Chana Dal variant I guess.. Right?
There are multiple outlets in Ulhasnagar, not sure about all of them. But definitely in Mulund and Thane , they serve with all 3 dals and chutney

Another one is in Mulund west ( mulund colony ) in hindustan chowk , another one is shivai snacks in Veena Nagar. Also might be Karachi sweets in Mulund west( not sure about this ) . Also it is available in Gurukripa in sion, but they serve with single dal

Not being a Sindhi.. leaving this comment without watching the vdo.. just read ur comment on youtube ... I am a big fan of yours.. so showing my love by dropping this comment...I am a die hard fan of Dal pakwan.. I first ever ate this in my Nanihal in GWALIOR.. its awesome.. and we dont get this in our suburbs in Mumbai.. so we used long for Dal Tikkad .. only when we use to visit My nani, my mamu use to bring this for us for breakfast ..now being married n staying in Chembur.. i still didnt got that taste of Dal pakwaan of Gwalior.. I will watch the vdo later and will surely try this authentic recipe n will again post a comment

Being a Sindhi and eating pakwan from my childhood, I can tell you that you can keep pakwan for 2-3 days, but yeah it catches moisture quickly so you need to keep it in a dry place.

College ke dinon sey hi, ( 1980 ) Bandra mein hamare college ke paas, Radha Soami Satsang Hall ke bahar, Sundays ke roz, ek Sai dal pakwan bechte hai ,, bahaut hi tasty hota hai ,, waise unki chatni mein aaj kal woh baat nahin rahi ,, it's too watery, the teekhi mirchi is still good and I love his simple dal pakwan even now, so do my children and my granddaughter, too ( just the pakwan, though )😀
But the recipe that you have shown, from Ulhasnagar ( will surely visit there ) is the royal Dal Pakwan ,, I will surely try making it, come Sunday 👍🏼😀 ,,, thank you for sharing the recipe
