Love your videos!! I lead worship in Louisville KY at Middletown Methodist. I took over there 5 months ago and have gone to in ears, as well as made other changes. It's a slow process. I've learned a lot watching your videos, my biggest need i would say is, changing culture at a church. Making changes in the culture while keeping the spiritual component. Blessings to you, thank you for all your help.

Thanks for the follow up video. The biggest need for us regarding in-ears is getting more channels. Now that we are slowly getting more people on them we need more channels to support that. Working on putting a plan in place to address that. I really like your idea behind having a solution to the problem, really hits home for us up here in Canada. Lots of sound related problems that no one seems to know how to fix.

My biggest need....to get the rest of the worship team to get the concept of doing different songs of praise and worship and also the importance of practice or rehearsals.

Rehearsals is a great topic! I'm planning to film a 'behind the scenes' kind of thing for a rehearsal soon.

I have been at the church I am now at for exactly 3 months and 1 day! We had 7 floor monitors. SEVEN. If you would have just turned down the house speakers, the combined sound from the wedges would have been enough. I am the Worship Director @ Christ Chapel Mountaintop in Manassas, VA... and we don't have a lot of cash. I come from a background of the whole 9 yards, in ears, click, loop... the dream! Coming here was a culture shock in a lot of ways. I went the afforadable way with Rolls PM50s monitors. Ordered a few of those.. and currently all of our instrumentalists use in-ears... our vocalists will transition in January. But we went from 7 wedges.. to only 2 now. Been here 3 months and trying to update the equipment, we also got a brand new front of house speakers and sub. So God has provided.. but i love these videos. Appreciate you guys!

Daniel Soto where did you get your PM50s from? Looking at them as a starting point for bass player and me. Pros/cons

Speaking as a worship leader who gets up nice and early on Sunday, I've 100% done that exact thing. "ok if I sleep now I'll still get 5 hours, that's plenty!" and then don't sleep at all. You described it perfectly!

Great videos! I am the Worship Director at Valley Word Church in Roanoke, VA ... not too far from you. Currently we are in the process of updating our in ears and working through the challenges of installing digital in ears system to an anolog sound board. Just discovered the direct outs are post fader by default and the switch to go pre-fader is inside the board. Fun fun :) I would love to learn about what equipment (microphones, lightning, camera, etc) you use for your videos. Also, would love to learn about your church's stage design and lighting. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, great info.

First of all, I got to say that you´re doing a really nice job! Thank you so much!
I´m a worship leader from Germany and your videos are a good help for learning a new song very fast.
And also your vlogs are really cool and a good help to get some vision for our church. We wanna go to In-ear monitoring, our biggest problem is the financial part of it. Gonna see how to fix that.
    Stay blessed,
    Basti

An actually from Hillsborough NC but my church is located in Durham NC as well! And our biggest need is production in general. It's very weak. You don't know how much you've helped. Thank you and God bless. P.S keep making these tutorial videos on production!

Spirit of Life Church in Clinton, NC here and our biggest need is flexibility in planning and implementation. We haven't gone the loops and pad route yet, because of the spontaneity of our church. We play three songs but flow with the Spirit when led. This could include hymns, songs of inspiration, and instrumentals during reverence.

the biggest need at my church is getting rid of our wedges and switching to in ear monitors getting songs out to the worship team at lease a week in advance not Sunday morning at 9 am.. and rehearsals and practice. I go to Family Worship center in Courtice Ontario.

I lost my voice right before worship service last week too. I had to bring one of the youth up on stage at the last minute to lead for me. Worked out great! I got my voice back after a few hours... not sure what that was all about.

Thanks guys for another great video!
Our church need for worship would be how to set up on a budget - that is the sound. It's very basic and been done the same way since I remember as a kid attending with guitars going straight into guitar amps. Mics straight into the PA. We've just got a new stage piano that runs through the PA. It's a very amateur set up (you can guess...we don't have a mixer) so the trouble I'm facing as a worship leader is trying to equalise everything manually.
Just want to know what would be the best way to set up on a budget. I have used the WT pads with a guitar switchfoot but that was at a venue that had a set up. Just not sure how to set up everything to replicate this at church now.
I might need to educate myself on setting up mixer and all that jazz I have no clue but willing to learn.
About my church- Small church of 40-50 people- Age range is diverse (up to 75yo+)- Currently following your Hymn series to cater for the older members of the congregation that would like to sing them (I love them myself) but also has a contemporary feel for the younger congregation.- Was introduced to your website by my pastor when I had taken up the role as music coordinator in 2014 and I've been following and learning new things to help improve as a guitarist and lead.- Our church hails from the land down under :) in Sydney, Australia

Hello, I am apart of a small church called Connections Community Church in Schoolcraft Michigan, and we are now just moving out of a high school auditorium we had been renting out for roughly fifteen years into a new home for us made possible by a financial campaign that ran in which our church reacted faithfully to. I personally am a lead guitarist within the church, and I just wanted to say that this channel you have created has been a huge help to me, and that I greatly appreciate it. Also, I was wondering if had a favorite multi-delay pedal to use in a live setting. I'm currently using a Line 6 dl-4 delay, and the only problem I'm running into with it is it's lack of subdivision capabilities. Thank you very much for everything!

While seasonal, I would love to hear a vlog on the transition into Christmas music within your worship sets. Do you do all Christmas music during this time of the year?

I'm go to HPUMC in Dallas Tx and mainly do youth worship (our whole worship team for youth is youth) and we still struggle to get people to use in ears. most people don't like the wire hanging off them bc we don't have wireless and we still have wedges for some people so more often then not everyone plays off the wedges

Hey guys I am from a baptist church in the great state of Texas. My biggest need now is upgrading my electric guitar gear. Any tips on when to know when it's time to upgrade your gear? And what are the best cheap effects pedals?

Awesome video guys! I would say my biggest need right now is running audience microphones for our in ears. I've explained to our sound guy how important it is to hear the congregation in our in ears, but he doesn't seem to really understand and therefore doesn't feel the need for that. I've sent him several links of different, affordable condenser microphones that we can use, but he never responds to me. How would you go about that? Would love to hear back from you guys, thanks!

How do you train a sound man with a SUPER limited budget?

    • @worshiptutorials
      @worshiptutorials  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hey Adam - you looking for resources that your sound engineers can access to train them? The cheapest way would be to educate yourself first and then train your team, but that's not always the best route to go (meaning many times an outside party can have a lot more influence, just because they're an outside party - if you know what I mean).

    • @holysnikees98
