Oh my God! this is meeeee right now! Same hair length and color! Well, I had to cut a lot of my ends. No doubt God loves me so much that He even cared about my hair enough to lead me to this video. There's hope for my hair! This video it's going to help me get my hair back to normal. I wish I could share photos to keep you all posted :)
Love the video!! You’re absolutely right about pro longer and k18. A couple years back I got pro longer and was shocked! My hair never looked better. Then k18 came out and it was a game changer!
Summer, you are the freaking best!!! I literally couldn't peel my eyes off the video. Where do I send the Oscar? What else do you want from me? My first born kid? HAHAHA.
Hilarious and valuable!! I have a concern over products because you and blow out professor directly contradict on which products. He dissed hard on K18, for example. And every other product. It left me confused so I’ve bought some of each.
I don't understand the K18 hate! I LOVE it. Olaplex and Redken, to be fair, do work great as well...I just find K18 to be easier and more affective to use. Everyone is different so it just comes down to what works best for your hair type, budget and time frame! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
This video 🙌 creative and very easy to binge your videos! You have such amazing and informative videos! And you are so personable, I love every video! ❤
I've been using Redken Volume Injection shampoo and conditioner and they definitely dry out your hair. I'm going to try the Pro Longer shampoo and conditioner. I found a good deal online. I can't wait to try them!
Thank you so this educational video I can't tell you wend through such great lengths the make it was hilarious 😆 you definitely put down in a nutshell I took a lot of screenshots and took notes because this is .y struggles I have fine thin hair too but I do grateful this is my Christmas present thank you doll
Wow Summer! This was so informative and fun! I’m going to try the braids, thank you for doing a step by step!! I get all backwards in the mirror and give up. I also would like to try the nioxil (sp?)stuff.
The braids can be challenging! My closet door in my bathroom is mirrored and it works great so I can see the back of my head 😂. The nioxin can be great, you jus thave to use it consistently!
Hi Summer. Thank you for sharing your extensive knowledge with us.❤❤❤ I love you and your content! I took notes on this video as well as the “goodbye flat hair” video. I realize that these steps are suggestions. And that we must determine which steps and products work for us. But I have one question: 1. I’m unsure as to ***when*** to add the leave-in conditioner based on your videos. I put it as step #4 in my protocol below. Would you agree that it goes before the heat protection? Or would it go after the heat protection? Or maybe before the root lifter/mouse combo? Hair care In shower: 1. Wash Hair making sure to concentrate shampoo into scalp not into ends 2. Use K18 in shower (can leave in or rinse out) four minutes Out of shower: 1. Comb hair gently using wide toothed comb 2. Add root lifter (Moroccan Oil Root Boost) 3. Add volume mouse to mid section of hair and to hair ends (Moroccan Oil Volumizing Mousse) (1-3 pumps depending on hair length 4. Add Leave-in conditioner (Purology Color Fanatic) 5. Add heat protectant (Moroccan Oil Perfect Defense Hear Protectant) 6. Lightly rough dry hair using blow dryer with *concentrator* for 2-3 minutes and be sure to lift roots of hair upwards with fingers 7. Use butterfly clips to section hair and round brush to dry hair fully
SO creative, so entertaining, so educational! I enjoy your videos so much! I have a question! When I started using more styling products, about a year ago, I got much better styling results ... but I also got more yellowing in my gray hair. Is purple shampoo the best solution for this yellowing from products? Do you recommend any purple hair products? What more can I do to eliminate, and then prevent, yellowing from styling products? Even worse, 4 months ago I move to an area with very hard water. Help!
So glad you enjoyed the video! I really like Olaplex 4P shampoo, it does a great job at toning but I find it to be less drying than other brands. It would be ideal to incorporate a clarifying shampoo into the mix. You can use clarifying shampoo prior to purple shampoo. Malibu C has some great options for clarifying and specifically has a hard water wellness line!
OMG this video is amazing, so hilarious but at the same time I was taking notes lol so you do use K18 once a week even after the “6 week” period they recommend? May hair is highlighted and SO damaged I think I need it in every wash actually 😩
I'm so glad you enjoyed, this video is my favorite one I've done! Ok, so K18 is also used based off how often you wash your hair. You use it 4-6 washes straight, and then you use as often as you feel you need. So if you wash your hair everyday, when first using, you would use it 6x in one week, and then go to as needed. I wash my hair on average 2x a week and because I use quite a bit of heat on my hair I do probably use it more than the average person. I will say, I have been slacking this year and have noticed a huge difference so I'm going to up it til I feel my hair is more repaired!
Detective Autumn 🤣. I LOVE these videos. Summer you are brilliant! I had such a good laugh 😂, the doughnut scene had me in stitches 🤣. I am going to try the braid option on rest days. 💕
I'm glad you enjoy, I always wonder what people think when they watch these specific type of videos 😂. The Prolonger does have sulfates in it, so it may be a bit drying to the scalp compared to others.
Wonderful - and hilarious - video. Thanks so much for creating. It always makes my day when there's a new video from Summer! Here are a few questions for you: 1)Can you recommend another shampoo/conditioner for fine, thin hair that isn't too drying . . . preferably available at Sephora? 2) Have you tried k18's new conditioner and if so, what are your thoughts? 3) What is your view on red light therapy for hair growth?
I am so glad you enjoyed! ❤️😊. I also really like the Ouai Fine Hair Shampoo and Conditioner, it's a solid choice for fine/thin hair types. I haven't tried the K18 conditioner yet and was just at the store and forgot to pick it up! Red light therapy so interesting you ask! I am trying out a device right now and still unsure my thoughts. I'm using it paired with Nioxin still bc I refuse to risk losing what I've gained from being so religious with it this yr. I'm very new into using it so no real results yet....however it is much more time consuming to use, so unless it gives me awesome bonus results idk that I'll feel it's worth the time!
Hi Summer, please could you recommend an anti frizz product for my fine hair please. I see a lot of anti frizz products in the market however I'm a bit scared that if I buy just a random product it weighs down my hair. I'm using moroccan root lifter and volume mousse as per your recommendation and it works fantastic 😊. Thanks a lot .
Love the video! I was viewing the Pro Longer shampoo/conditioner and it states it is for longer hair. I have slightly below chin length bob. Should I not use this?
Hi Summer!! I follow you from Spain!, I recently discovered you. I’m so confused about the best routine for daily hair care. To many product, video and people contradiction…😅. I’m a long blonde hair, so flat, fine and low density, but ealthy and shine. I need to wash my hair every two days, so I’m looking for a great shampoo and routine. What do you recomended me for recover the natural density?, because I see that volumen shampoo is a great effect only for a short time and they make your hair so dry… Thank you for your time and all your information!! 😊🤗❤
are you still using minoxidil? does it affect if im using an aminexil serum and switch to minox? what happens if you stop or reduce frequency? i'd really love to know

Wow Summer! This was so informative and fun! I’m going to try the braids, thank you for doing a step by step!! I get all backwards in the mirror and give up. I also would like to try the nioxil (sp?)stuff.

I find it much easier to braid if I don't look in the mirror.
Who films your amazing videos?
My husband and I do the channel together! He's usually behind the scenes except when I write him in. He was who arrested me in the beginning 😆🤣
@@SummerBeautyc You guys do a great job!
