The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted NHS Staff at a unique drive-in cinema last night for a special screening of Disney’s Cruella at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, in recognition of their vital work throughout the pandemic.
Guests came across the NHS workforce in Scotland, representing all parts of the NHS and were recognised for their incredible efforts throughout the pandemic.
The Duke and Duchess arrived in a 1966 2A Land Rover which belonged to The Duke of Edinburgh.

Kate does have her role well under control, she supports instead of overdoing it. She shines in her own way and careful in doing not to overshadow William. He indeed took his time to tie the knot but he made a good choice in Catherine.
William could not have done better and his brother could not have done worse..

Both William and Kate are very down to earth.
I loved the tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh. The Duke and Duchess are dignified yet approachable, regal yet humble. That she is wearing the Queen's earrings says volumes about how much the Queen loves and respects the work the two of them are doing.

Charles is next in line to the throne, after his mother dies. He could be a king for more than 20+ yrs. So don't hold your breath.......William has a very long wait before he sees the throne, if ever.
I'm positive that the monarchy will not survive much longer, after Queen Elizabeth dies and Charles takes over.

The RF brings much, much more money (through taxes, which they decided to pay on their own will) to the national Treasure than it receives from the taxpayer. A republic does not gain money, so it doesn't pay taxes. A republic would cost much more. Without all the advantages of monarchy.
Prince William and Duchess Catherine are genuine in their greetings with the people who are waiting to meet .
It's just so wonderful to see William and Kate go about their royal duties with such warmth and kindness. You can see the happiness in their eyes and in their smiles. Truly admirable.

I guess drive-ins had a resurgence in the UK during the pandemic, too. So glad to see that Philip's Land Rover got adopted.
