Hey Belle, it's so strange that what you described is exactly my story as well. For last 9 years I spent studying engineering due to pressure from my dad, jealous family and friends purposely holding me down and other people's judgements. I always knew this wasn't meant for me but due to blockages I kept getting off track and missing out on so many opportunities. I do have a lot of resentment and anger towards these people and feel so tired now. I hate that I lost so much time and energy feeling anxious and depressed because of them. I feel like I don't have energy anymore to try, or to even know where to start. I feel like that life that future is so close I can see it and feel it so strongly like I'm already there, but it's like I am blindfolded and don't know where to go.

Wow. I chose group 3. When the Learning to Forgive card came up along with the message of not being so hard on myself I actually burst into tears. Of relief, mostly. I felt something shift in me at that moment. Like a wall just came crashing down. I've always been my own harshest critic and I KNOW that has prevented me from making certain progress in my goals. I have been a teacher for almost 10 years. This year has been so so hard that I’ve been actively applying to jobs outside of the classroom since the beginning of December. I’ve applied to close to 100 jobs and was getting so so discouraged and frustrated because I’m in such a toxic environment I just wanted to be out. I decided to at least request a transfer to a different school at the end of the year if I didn’t find another job. It looked like this was going to have to be my only option because nothing else was happening in my job search. I stomped my feet all the way to my interview on Friday with another school.
