Its a bit of a nostalgia bias i personally love them you can compensate for the clunky controls and awful camera angles it may take some time but the game is definitely playable and a pretty decent game for it time

When my dad played both castlevania 64 and castlevania legacy of darkness he had to fight Renon because he spent over 35,000 but when I played both castlevania 64 and legacy of darkness I didn’t have to fight Renon because I didn’t spend 35,000 dollar and over.

Um Technically Ramon wasn’t even a boss he was a optional mini boss you could fight at the end of the game if you don’t want to fight Ranon at the end of the game. Do not buy a lot of stuff from him as long as you don’t spend $35,000 and over you won’t have to fight him at the end of the game but if you want to fight him at the end of the game then buy crap load of stuff from you will fight him at the end of the game
We need a rewritten story for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 SO BADLY! Character designs were great, but the story element felt sloppy. It was interesting making Castlevania into a metropolis, but the higher ups, demons? Wouldn't the city's own government have something to say about it? I also would've loved seeing Gabriel explore more than the castle again, the true source of evil may have been located elsewhere. And Zobek should've been the main antagonist, not Satan again. Potential was flying everywhere, but the pitfalls, like destroying the Vampire Killer, the "Split" universe where everything was medieval again, and a Possessed Alucard as the final boss, that stopped the fun and made the game feel like a waste of money.
Not to mention that part of the Castlevania series is an alternate timeline. Gabriel Belmont is not the real Dracula. The real Dracula is Vlad the Impaler.

How does the "Lord of Darkness, Evil Incarnate bla bla bla" take damage from a rope
The whip is called the Vampire Killer, and gets its holy power by having the soul of A Belmont's lover inside it.
Later on it's retconned into being made of silver chain with a cross or morning star on the end.
