I used to listen to this exact version of this song as a 10 year old and I absolutely loved the synth part at 4:36. There was something inspiring and special about it that I recorded it on a tape and would rewind the tape repeatedly over and over at that section. Listening to it again after many years brings back memories. Thank you.
Val Young should have gotten much more airplay. This lady should never have gotten lonely not being played on turntables more often! I'm digging this street mix big time!
Rick James' fingerprints are dusted all over this track. I favored this version over the radio edit. *_1st Class_* Thanks for posting!
Loved this mix.. Classic! This is the mix I played at clubs and private functions when I DJed then and still do..
