Just built a system with this case and am very happy with it. The instructions are a bit scattered but far from as bad as some youtubers say, and honestly, if you can't build a case this simple, you might want to give a second thought about building your own system. The design, materials, paint and fit quality are excellent. It's compact and has huge breathing room (it's 07/07/2024 and mine already came with the higher flow dust filters). I did purchase fans for the bottom of the case to make it a positive pressure chamber. After my experience I bought three more for systems I'm building. If you want a very compact full ATX case with great configuration flexibility, I'd highly recommend the Qube 500.
air cooling is the best option for this case. i put my aio in it and it performed bad, then got a duel tower air cooler and temps came down for both the cpu and gpu.
@@Trevor4364 you can mount them under the power supply, either on the side of the mother board or on the back, where you wouldn’t see it. I think there are a couple of spots elsewhere. Bottom line is, yes there is room.
I sae this case and almost pushed purchase button. But its predessor, Q500L had horrifying reviews on thermal performance... due to front mounted PSU. Not sure this can solve the problem...😮
Could someone who owns one of these please tell me the exact height of the case without feet and with feet ? I'm putting this in a desk and I only have a space of 16 5/8 high. the width is no problem.
Depends on how tall the GPU is and where the PCI-E power connectors are located. Big aircoolers often come in the way of the power cables when using a vertical mount. But if the GPU is not very tall like the EVGA card in the video it should be fine. And if the power connectors are located closer to the back of the card instead of the middle thats even better. Like the new 12VHPWR connectors are mostly in the middle of the card and your not suposed to bend those cables a lot. I recomend using a vertical mount only when using an AIO those will not get in the way.
@@j.p.h.8126 well, I did not do the vertical mount as I finished my build, look really cool. Wish I could send the image without people thinking it's phishing
The main problem with the QUBE 500 is that the filter mesh in all filters is simply too tight. The filters used in this computer case prevent a proper and efficient airflow/cooling. Apart from that, it's a pretty good case.
This case would look so much better without the glass panel.

Yes ! I just built mine with this case as well! All black. I’m happy with it. I think extra fans are a must in my opinion. Just in case.
I also built one in the white version, build quality is amazing and looks really good, definitely a great option
I think an ITX version of this would be great.
This is ITX
well done Matt!!! you did a great job reviewing this case. I don't know why you get so less views.
So glad you enjoyed the video! I truly appreciate the support.

Thanks for this comment. Good to know about air vs AIO.
the macaron comes with the teal pink and yellow panels.
Will this case support a full size modular p supply and mid size m/board aat same time?
I watched so many of these Q500 assembly videos but haven't see one that shows how/where HDDs are mounted.

So this is not work for ATX ? Right ?
Picked a white MB to match the case and then proceed to pick black the rest of the way.😂
Just built in this case, huge parts fit as well, NOCTUA NHD15 fits :D, Corsair RM1000 fits, TUF 6800XT fits :D
I have an ASUS PRIME B450M-A/CSM Motherboard, do you think the front panel IO will be compatible?
can anyone help me in knowing if this case can work with the corsair shift 750 psu?

i love your video good job is that a atx power supply and also is that a full atx motherboad i want to but this
So glad you enjoyed and yes they are both full size atx!
@@mattscomputerservices thanks soo much for getting back this helps me alot !!
May I ask? Is it possible to vertical GPU mount with Qube 500 + MA824?

wow loved it 👏👏💥💥
the issue with the power supply adapter is because of your power supply. mine goes towards the back of the computer and works just fine.
Can you do a video about your working space
Planning on doing that soon probably a quick short then a more detailed video later on still moving in.
I think I’ve fallen in love with a case
La faltan ventiladores y filtros de polvo mejores como dijiste, está chida la idea pero le faltan unos 5 años de mejora para que sea ideal

@@TheChiefEng Not any more. I just purchased four of them. All the meshes have barely any material left.
They should make a smaller version of the case.
@@markusjohansson4949 they do, the Q300.
OMG he put the GPU cable in wrong. The end for the PSU of the GPU cable is NOT split.
Great job, just the music is so annoying

Well nothing diy about that case. More like a ikea case
