I will not be the least surprised if Amazon will secretly use this for help filming the battles. I've seen this before on Nae'Blis channel, but I still find it purely amazing. Well done! Really looking forward the battle of Falme!
This was so great... especially the breakdown of all Perrin's movements since coming through the Waygate...trying to visualize all of that with just a single map picture was tough but this is just perfect...I hope to see more in the future...
I can’t wait to see this play out in the WoT TV Series on Amazon. I bet it will take at least 2 episodes to cover, and that the Director of the Episodes uses this to map out those episodes.
Although Dumai Wells and the Battle of the Two Rivers are most people's favourite in the books, mine is Falme. If Amazon can get it right, it will be EPIC, with burning ships in the harbour as a background and explosions in the streets as the Seanchan battle the hero's and the Whitecloaks on the outskirts. Great video. Looking forward to the next.
I enjoyed watching it again, after I watched it on Naeb's channel! It still makes me teary eyed toward the end, same feeling as reading it, no matter that I know the outcome or that it's like the 2nd or 12th time I read it... My only "tickle" of the video is that several times Naeb says "Two Rivers" instead of "Emond's Field". I dunno if he's as meticulus with his script as you, but since he has so many proof readers for the website, I'm sure he cld make them check it before recording! Overall, it's so cool of you two to use those maps in such an interactive way to show us the timeline and characters involved in various battles, since it's kinda trademark of RJ to make us feel soooooo lost while actually reading them! As a visual person, it makes this so much clearer for me!!! Really looking forward to Falme, and many others, but especially the Carhien one!
There's really just one spoiler related to future books but it's big enough that I think it's worth waiting. I'm glad you had the strength to turn away! See you in a few months!
You guys should make a video using this same content to discuss how all this action could be portrayed in season 3. This is a lot. I would assume the battle would carry into season 4 perhaps?

Did Perrin ever come into his own in this book. My favourite male character in the series. Faile is one of my favourite supporting characters so I loved this book!
The shadow has a short Memory. They call the Aiel Wastes the Dying Lands and rightly so, but they've forgotten what happened the Last Time they came en masse to this land. They may have Broken the Sword that Could Not Be Broken but the Blood of lost Manetheren still will not bend knee to the shadow. Tai'Shar Manethreren! Carai an Caldazar! Carai an Ellisande! Your blood still sings! BTW The fall of Manetheren would make a fantastic video.
Awesome video. I'm hopeful you'll release more non-spoiler videos about WoT that I can use to hype up my "non-wot Friends" before the upcoming show, perhaps make some of them even read the books :-) Should be an easy task since your videos hold such high quality. 👍 Keep Up the Good work!

Thanks for the input! Nae'Blis is a much bigger channel than mine, so it helps me to get more views. Also, he was the one who approached me about this. In the future I'll probably do some battle breakdowns on my own.

@@UnravelingthePattern I don't think it's really spoilery since it doesn't say when or with who such a battle takes place. From the get go of the series, like even in the synopsis, we're told that there is gonna be a "Last Battle". So obviously, at some points, there are gonna be other battles. So, ok, there is gonna be a battle in the Two Rivers... If you haven't read yet about any in the location mentionned, then don't clic on it and you won't know at what point it'll happen, from early on up to the last one... So my only suggestion for you Lauren, never mention in the description it is spoilery for what book, just a general warning that if ppl don't know yet what that title is refering to, then they shouldn't watch it! And maybe do the same thing in the video itself, keep the pointer toward spoilers, but saying to leave immediately if they don't know what you're gonna talk about yet, to come back when they do understand!
I actually hope we see more casualties in the tv show. And instead of Perrin's unnamed family dying I hope it is the Luhhon's and instead of dying before he gets there I want him to see the smoke of the forge on fire, race to get there, then seeing the white cloaks ride away and finding the Luhhon's dead or almost dead.
@@luckat7927 they could do that but I can't imagine them developing both the Luhhon's and Perrin's family so I'd rather have the named characters developed. I also wouldn't be surprised if we don't see them casted until shadow's rising season.
@@abbys6260 I agree that if they choose to develop Perrin's family they'll probably spend less time on the Luhhans early on. I really doubt that whoever they choose to kill off for Perrin when they get to book four stuff (if they do still kill off people close to him) won't be cast until then because then they'll just be falling into the same trap RJ did where he killed off characters the reader didn't care about. The way I see it, there's two main ways the show could handle it if they want the deaths to hit right. The first is to focus on Perrin's family early on, possibly replacing some of the early characterization the Luhhans get (perhaps even to the extent that they aren't even cast yet), then kill Perrin's family off and have Perrin treat the Luhhans like his replacement family like what happened in the book. The second way is to fully replace Perrin's family with the Luhhans, and then make sure to characterize the Luhhans well early on (maybe better even than in the books since we'd be losing all characterization after their deaths and probably a lot of Perrin's internal monologue about them), then kill them off and focus on Perrin finding family in Tam and Abel after that. Either way could work (and would probably work better if the deaths don't happen entirely off screen.) I'm just surprised at how many people seem to be leaping at the second idea instead of the first (and seem to be doing so entirely off of book characterization that might not end up in show), so I like to bring up the first possibility. I think we'll have a better idea what route the show is likely to take when it gets to this point after we've seen how they handle the characterization in the first season.

Wow, I didn't remember most of this! It's crazy that Perrin did so much in one book, seeing as the Shaido arc lasted 3-4 books later on.
Just started book 6 and have been avoiding spoliers like the plague. This was one of my favourite parts so far so.

You could even say that Perrin's parents died when he was young and he was basically raised by the Luhhon's
