I don't get it. Officials from the Church of Scientology asked him to remove the video, which she apparently did while they were there. Why would they continue to harass this guy? All this does is teach people that even if you go along with their requests, they won't leave you alone, so why do anything they request?

I will just point out that the Church of Scientology has a well-documented history of engaging in extreme and bizarre harassment. They not only got people to join the federal government and the IRS in hopes of torpedoing and audit, they had someone go to a critics house and ask her to sign a petition and then typed up a bomb threat on a piece of paper she had touched and left her fingerprint on and sent it to the church itself. I'm not a Scientologist. I'm not famous. I'm not a Tom Cruise fan. All that said, I would have been very distressed at the idea of someone coming into my house, finished or not. It would be scary that these people saw the layout of my home. In the case of celebrities, they have stalkers, "enemies" and limited freedom because they are followed by cameras etc every time they go outside. Again, I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise but I would have serious fear for the safety of my children if people think it would be cool to enter my home without my permission. Before I get hateful responses to my opinions, I don't support the "alleged" actions of the Church of Scientology in response to the intruder. If the church want to make a point, get a restraining order. It's a perfectly legal alternative to commiting crimes that are worse than a curious guy looking around the house.

I’m not justifying whatever the level of harassment he got, but he brought that upon himself.
