Thank you for this tour of Magic. For the first time, I will cruise her in November of 2024. I have cruised her two sister ships (Dream and Breeze) multiple times and loved them. In fact, they're my all time favorite Carnival ships. I have a feeling that I'm going to love Magic just as much if not more.😀

We just did the Magic 03/27/22 - 04/04/22 and we loved it so much that we booked the same cruise and same balcony room again for 2023.....we actually booked the cruise while on a cruise, great tour video, cheers from New Brunswick Canada

Your videos are well done. It might be helpful to mention the class of the ship being discussed. Once I figured out that Dream is the Carnival sister ship, I had some idea as to the ship's age, size, etc.

I really believe the inside and mid ship rooms are the best for feeling the least movement. Most of the time you won't really notice, I take Bonine just precautionary but in past haven't had any trouble. Have an amazing cruise in July it will be here before you know it!!
Before my first cruise I used to be nervous for the waves, claustrophobic spaces, being out on the ocean in general, and I'm not at all anymore after the first cruise I found out not as big of deal as I made it in my head. And the slight movement sometimes puts me to sleep! But as precaution I do take Bonine nowadays. Have a blast, Suzy!!
It depends on what you are comparing. But in some categories, Carnival Magic does not come close to the Oasis Class ships from RCL. Particularly size, number of passengers, number of venues, etc. But it compares favorably in other areas. :)
@@reneshay889 the Oasis is class ships are not that expensive! People say they don’t like cruises because they go on a crappy ship. Also Carnival food is bad. My FIL that loves to eat even said Carnival was terrible. 😆
@@param2907 I don’t know your itinerary but if you go to a private island like Half Moon Cay then Carnival provides a beach lunch. If you get off in Nassau or Freeport then no but you can go back to the ship to eat lunch before they close for lunch. Look on app for closing times
Vacations to Go has a really good site and you can easily specify a port you'd like to leave from, or even a cruise line you'd like to sail, or exclude. Recommended.
Hey Johhny!! Yes there is, they had it full of artwork all week so it did not show well on the video, it is actually nice and right between the piano bar and red frog pub on deck 5
I believe they do, like I've seen on other ships, unfortunately I didn't hang in there during this trip at night. It's a great time though, I've spent many a night up till 2 or 3 am there!! Have a good trip!

God awful vessel. The crew is polite and hospitable EXCEPT the Customer Service desk. A tour rated "2" for moderate means the tour walk from hell. Three hours of walking up and down stairs. Calling 911 was not an option. By the time we got back to Amber Cove they had to pour us back on the vessel. Vessel was not maintained well and I thought powered eggs were done away with years ago. YUK!!!! Its all abut the pools, hot tubs, bars, and gambling. Many people seem to stay in there swimming suits for the entire cruise. It you are not up for a White Trash holiday don't go. The restaurant were so noisy I had to lean over to whoever I wanted to talk with and maybe they heard me. I had to put my ear buds on to cancel all of the noise. Do not go to the main dining areas if you have PTSD.

It was an inside room right by the elevator mid ship being next to elevator is so convenient and I did not notice it was noisy or anything

Yes plenty of free options: buffet, blueiguana cantina (burritos and tacos) guys burgers, also pasta Bella for lunch is free!

I usually book just on carnival.com I haven't sailed out of NYC so not sure what sailings they offer up there, have a great time whatever you choose 😀
