@@jonathantorres7708 We had a great time, I would do it again, but I could tell cruise lines are struggling to get back to pre-covid levels of entertainment.
I live near Wash DC, so I could drive to this port. Parking, embarkation and debarkation were super smooth.
We made our own excursions in San Juan and St Thomas, we had a great time on both. We did a Carnival excursion on Grand Turk to snorkle, it was a total waste as the snorkeling was weak and they were a bit unorganized.
One thing we did that is pricey but totally worth it was the Chefs Table Dinner. This is not for the picky eater, you get served a 10 course meal over 3 hours, while in the middle of the ships kitchen. The chef describes each course as you eat, it was really memorable.
We did not do any other high end dining, there was high demand so it was tough to get a reservation. I was totally satisfied with the main dining room meals.
The comedians on the ship were the highlight of the entertainment. They were great. As for the rest of the entertainment, it was the weak point of the cruise. They did several musical samplers with a dance crew, but I was unimpressed. My guess is that the is not enough entertainers ready for all the cruise lines right now, and I doubt Carnival has much pull compared to the pricier cruise lines. Hopefully it will be better when you go.
The ship is not new and is is showing a bit of wear but everything was working, I like the water slides.
The chat app is a great value, $5/week to text each other, but it was not working for us until the last two days of the trip.

I am going on this ship in December I got off the Mari gras last year and I was on the original ship of the Mari gras this is my 20th cruise

How was the food on the ship
I have never had any food complaints on any carnival ship. I think they are better than the other cruise lines.
