I moved into a senior living apartment complex about 6 months ago and I swear sometimes I feel someone sitting down on my bed. It doesn’t scare me so I’m ok with it if it’s a spirit.
My sister passed away at my house, and then 11 months later my mother did. We constantly hear what we believe to be footsteps, it even makes the dogs bark sometimes. I know it’s them because I’m not afraid.
A few years ago, it had been five years since my Dad passed. My dog started growling and staring in my office late at night. My husband started looking and saw a shadow on the wall that moved. He stood in the hallway and the shadow moved to the middle of the room. The person was clear as day like we are, my husband saw this man from the back and thought he looked very familiar. The man turned and looked at my Husband and it was my Dad. When my husband went to say his name he disappeared. My husband then woke me up and said he just saw my Dad. A week before this my Mom saw my Dad at her house early in the morning. It makes me feel so good my Dad is still around us. ❤
A woman died in the apartment I rented a month after she passed. Even after airing out and a good cleaning there were times where the cigarette smell was so strong that it was awful. One night I laid down to go to sleep and it was as if someone was standing next to my bed smoking. I knew her name was Mary so I had a talk with her and told her she was welcome to stay if she wanted but that she would have to go outside to smoke from now on and explained it was my apartment now and that she had passed on. No more cigarette smoke smell after that plus I don't feel her around me anymore so I think she finally went to her Heavenly Home!
Clearly encountered one at work. It was a Macy's store in an old theater building. He only came out late at night so employees only encountered him during Christmas extended hours. I worked alone in the basement in the Cash office. He liked me because when he made a door creak, I would say, "Let me help you with that!" Because I wasn't going to be afraid of him. He would open my soda to make that sound when the pressure was released, and then he would laugh when I asked him if he was having fun. He liked to make me laugh.
My Dad passed away 9 years ago and Mom still lived in the house at that time. She claimed that she would see him all the time. She said he would be hanging out in the corner of the living room or sit next to her on the coach or the edge of the bed.. She told me she was not really freaked out but she was mad at him for leaving her and wished he would come back and talk to her. They were married 62 years.....
I just discovered Matt, great...we once had a rental summer house in Normandië France ( we live in Brussels, Belgium ) and three nights it was voices coming from the kitchen, it seemed to know when we went to sleep, it woke us up just before falling asleep...we never rented it again. Greetings.
I bought my home a year ago in a small town. Afterward I found out a retired teacher was brutally murdered here 30 years ago. I feel her here consistently but I feel like she is not trapped here. I try to honor her life by making this home a cheerful, happy place.
My husband passed in the house 3 yrs. ago and I swear he comes to visit. Every now and again my 2 little dogs will stop and stare and do a little "talking". Wish I could see or feel him near.
If you leave a letter pad and pen on a table, you may get a pleasant surprise! My late husband made himself known by "throwing small objects on the floor to get my attention. I've had many Loved Ones do this over the past four years years! I bring out my Visitor's Log book when this happens and I communicate with them out loud, asking questions to find out who is there. Depending on who is visiting, sometimes there's more than one relative, they will write their name; sometimes not, and will answer some of my questions. I'm so comforted by their Presence. Yes. Everywhere. I always knew there was at least 1 male and 1 female in my home. I was pretty sick one morning and I passed out, I came to because I heard a woman talking with someone. I thank her daily because when I tried to get up off the floor I began getting sick. Had i not come to, I would've been flat on my back getting sick and more than likely would have choked to death. I feel very comfortable in my home knowing Im watched over
@@EmpressLee Most definitely. I should add that I heard her say "She could die right now and she would never even know". That's what made my eyes open. I am assuming she was referring to my husband being ill. He passed a few weeks later. I also heard her speaking with him in the hospital, although I couldn't be clear on their conversation

Yes, I sometimes feel my late husband present in the house but I don't get scared I know he miss us as much as we miss him and he will he love us he will always check on us so when I feel his present I always talk to him and I welcome him and I tell him it's OK to visit us time and again but he must go back to rest. I think it's kind of nice. My parents died and I know they visit their old house. And I WISH I could be there and like visit WITH them because I loved them and I loved our house too. So now, in our house, the original owners built this house. It was his wife's dream house. But sadly a few years later the man, Eric, died of cancer. I know he visits us, or rather his house, and I feel like that is the sweetest thing. Sometimes I talk to him in my head and ask him to protect us because I have a lot of anxiety being home alone with my kids when my husband works away. My husband saw him(Eric) use the sauna in the basement one night! He thought it was scary but I'm like....Eric probably liked the sauna a lot! I just feel bad like.....I hope he's OK with how we're taking care of his house.❤
Hi Matt, a friend of mine bought a house in Cumberland RI. It is a 5 bedroom house built in the 1920s. I was sitting in the livingroom watching tv and out of the corner of my eye I could see through the diningroom into the kitchen that had this old cast iron and porcelain farmers sink. I turn to my buddy and say "some old lady is doing your dishes" He said no its only me and my wife, that's my ghost doing her own dishes, not mine. we laughed!
My daughter saw a man come through the wall when she was 3 years old. She described in detail and she can still recall every detail to this day and she is almost 12.
I had a gentleman in my newly bought home. My two grandsons saw him first whilst staying overnight. One of my dogs would constantly growl at the staircase and would not go upstairs unless I was with him. I asked neighbours about past residents other than the young couple I bought the house from. Turned out that the original owner had died on the stairs and sadly lay for a while before being discovered, his name was John George, a widower whose wife was called Margaret. I had to address him and tell him it was time to move on and to go to Margaret, I don’t think he realised he was dead. It worked………my dog often goes upstairs alone to sleep on my bed now. It was sad that he had stayed with the house for over 7yrs, but calling for Margaret to help me move him on worked. All peaceful now except for the odd member of my own family checking up on me 😊
Re energy....how often if you forget why you came into a room, just go back to the spot you thought of what you had wanted to do and voila the energy of that thought remains and you remember!!
My Dad took a video of this. His dogs woke up exactly one year later, to the min of when my Stepmom died. It was an amazing thing to see as the pooches were in such a deep state, not wanting anything. You could see it on their faces.
I also had a hospital experience in the summer. I was in a super old part of the wing. It was a pretty neat experience. I had to finally tell them to stop with the noises and let me sleep lol
I grew up in a house built in the early 1900’s. There was definitely a spirit in the house. I always felt it was the man who built and lived in the house. He was always kind to our family. After we sold the house and the new owners decided to do a major remodel, the spirit became very violent. Tools flying across rooms and slamming into walls. They called in a priest to have him removed. I was really sad when I heard about this, but maybe it was best that he finally moved on.
I was told by a psychic medium friend that the spirit in my 1800's house was male an didn't like me. Made sense, doors slamming, foot steps. Leave one room lights go on in the room I left. I go back in the room to turn off the lights but they stay on ignore it for a little while then I could go back an turn the lights Off the spirit would always do the same thing with the TV especially if we were asleep the TV would come on full blast. The curtains on the windows would be shoved To the left side of the window every morning. The House got sold, the owner rented it out. I ran in to the tenant living in my old house an she said did I experience strange things An she asked what's with the curtains shoved to the left side of the window, I fix them when I look back later they are back on the left side. Then I leave the house get in my car All the lights I had turned off except the one outside light my kids she said are like mom the lights are all on. It used to do that to me too if you would go back in turn them off Get in your car yep the lights would come on. The one thing that seemed to work for me we with this spirit if I ignored what it did it seemed to stop because I didn't feed into The things he made happen. I told the new tenants to try not feeding into it.

Fun fact: I live in St. Louis Missouri and only about 20 min from where the real Exorcist took place! I actually grew up in a neighborhood that was even closer to that house about 3 miles. I have never seen the house but I have been in the neighborhood. We never heard of the Exorcist growing up in the 1960's. My Mom went to the grade school right down the street from there. The house is still there and someone lives in it. Most incidences took place at a nearby hospital called Alexian Brothers ... I think but I'm not sure of the name you can look it up. I think the hospital was torn down years ago! It was a boy not a girl that it happened to in the 1940's. I read that the family moved away and the boy grew up and had a great life... like working for NASA or something. Very interesting story!
In a house I rented, while I was packing to move out, someone slammed the cupboard door. I believe it was the spirit of the man that lived there for many years. His wife used to have someone drive her around the block to look at her past house and she would smile and wave at me when I was in the yard.

Thank you Matt I can relate to what you where talking about we just moved in two years ago almost and the first day we moved in I seen a lady in a night gound I couldn't see her face though I didn't recognize her so I thought it was just my imagination and then I brought my friend who has two girls over and the one girl said there was a ghost here or living here and I said that's cool to her. We have cameras around the house and couple months we seen a orb at 4:45AM walking through our door and over our back porch and vanished, and then in November my grandfather saw her walk past the kitchen into the back part of our hallway but I agree with you she is just visiting her old house. The house we live in was built in 1960's
My college apartment that was only built 2 years prior to me living there had a poltergeist. I always felt uneasy in certain places and one night it threw a whiteboard across the entire room! I’m now living in a very old duplex that was originally used as barracks and then just rented out for the last 50+ years. I do feel things here but only sometimes, and it’s not usually a bad vibe 🤷🏼♀️ but I can definitely tell a lot of different energies have come through here over time

My boyfriend purchased the house we live in, brand new. I’ve sensed a soul other than us was here. Then one morning at 2am, I walked past the kitchen and shadow thin legs were in the kitchen, I stepped back to look again, the legs were gone. I recreated what I saw with my own legs, and realized that the spirit was only 1 1/2 feet from me lol. I have no clue who it is. I’ve sensed whoever it is in our bedroom at night. Neither of us had lost a family member prior to what I saw, and sensed. I’m thinking the soul is related to the land, not the house. My boyfriend refers to the soul as “our Native American”.
Hi Matt! Since I was a child, I have always seen and felt spirits around me. This used to freak me out, but now as an adult I have come to understand that it is mostly my family coming back to visit or just someone passing through where they used to live. I've had two not so nice spirits when I lived in an old duplex from the 1950's. People that used to be training in the Army lived in these homes which were on an old Army base. My family and I always saw shadows and voices that were not familiar to us. I tried to get rid of the not so nice spirits, and it was not easy. He was always opening the back door in the middle of the night, and I could hear his boots on the floor walking. He did get angry when I asked him to leave while I was saging. He stayed for a while, and then I didn't feel him around any more. The greatest experience I had was when my grandparents came to visit me. I woke up in the middle of the night, and I could smell their scent , and when my dog Max came back too. That really made me happy, and I thanked them for visiting. I lived in a 1936 house P Quebec. One day during the day i saw what i beleive to be my grandmother who passed away when i was 10., i scream she never came back 😂 another day i was sitting on my bed and a teenager came next to my bed ,very close I didn't know him.i wasn't afraid but surprise ,i wish i had thought to ask him questions ❓ both was clear like a living.
ohh man this happened to me just after the holidays with my neighbors, I knew and know I do not function in that nature so I had to clear some energy wow thank you for sharing

But that was only about 8 pictures in out of 40. Then I see a picture of a room that out of the whole house the only room with anything on the walls. It was a small framed picture, old dark in hue ... and a crucifix! Now I KNOW THAT it's haunted!! LOL 😅 But I can't shake the feeling that I should try to buy it. One house I lived in with my little kids n spouse...that one I could here his footsteps, feel the breeze as he 'walked' by and 'knew he was there as i read to kids etc, another 2 I visited..all 3 times the common demoninator was...they had all been killed....I had no fear. I knew how they died too. The fella in the house we were living in enjoyed seeing me n my littles. After divorce and the 'new' spouse moved in...well he was still there and scared the heck out of 'her' by lifting their bed up and dropping it among other 'happenings'.

He too passed from COPD. I still have his ashes here with me and I have my mother's ashes here and my stepfather's ashes here and my mother's dog's ashes here with me. They all been hanging out with me for many years except for my husband. My husband in spirit has only been with me since last year. He was on hospice for close to 5 years. He was too young to go, but too sick to stay. I miss every inch of him. I keep a picture and his wedding ring right on my kitchen counter. There's nothing else there but him. I also keep his ashes in the kitchen. The others are in my bedroom. When are you coming to Augusta Maine? I could tell you some stories. It was sad that he had stayed with the house for over 7yrs, but calling for Margaret to help me move him on worked. All peaceful now except for the odd member of my own family checking up on me 😊

My Dad took a video of this. His dogs woke up exactly one year later, to the min of when my Stepmom died. It was an amazing thing to see as the pooches were in such a deep state, not wanting anything. You could see it on their faces.
I also had a hospital experience in the summer. I was in a super old part of the wing. It was a pretty neat experience. I had to finally tell them to stop with the noises and let me sleep lol
I grew up in a house built in the early 1900’s.
There was definitely a spirit in the house.
I always felt it was the man who built and lived in the house.
He was always kind to our family.
After we sold the house and the new owners decided to do a major remodel, the spirit became very violent.
Tools flying across rooms and slamming into walls.
They called in a priest to have him removed.
I was really sad when I heard about this, but maybe it was best that he finally moved on.
I was told by a psychic medium friend that the spirit in my 1800's house was male an didn't like me. Made sense, doors slamming, foot steps.
Leave one room lights go on in the room I left. I go back in the room to turn off the lights but they stay on ignore it for a little while then I could go back an turn the lights
Off the spirit would always do the same thing with the TV especially if we were asleep the TV would come on full blast. The curtains on the windows would be shoved
To the left side of the window every morning. The House got sold, the owner rented it out. I ran in to the tenant living in my old house an she said did I experience strange things
An she asked what's with the curtains shoved to the left side of the window, I fix them when I look back later they are back on the left side. Then I leave the house get in my car
All the lights I had turned off except the one outside light my kids she said are like mom the lights are all on. It used to do that to me too if you would go back in turn them off
Get in your car yep the lights would come on. The one thing that seemed to work for me we with this spirit if I ignored what it did it seemed to stop because I didn't feed into
The things he made happen. I told the new tenants to try not feeding into it.

Fun fact: I live in St. Louis Missouri and only about 20 min from where the real Exorcist took place! I actually grew up in a neighborhood that was even closer to that house about 3 miles. I have never seen the house but I have been in the neighborhood. We never heard of the Exorcist growing up in the 1960's. My Mom went to the grade school right down the street from there. The house is still there and someone lives in it. Most incidences took place at a nearby hospital called Alexian Brothers ... I think but I'm not sure of the name you can look it up. I think the hospital was torn down years ago! It was a boy not a girl that it happened to in the 1940's. I read that the family moved away and the boy grew up and had a great life... like working for NASA or something. Very interesting story!

In a house I rented, while I was packing to move out, someone slammed the cupboard door. I believe it was the spirit of the man that lived there for many years. His wife used to have someone drive her around the block to look at her past house and she would smile and wave at me when I was in the yard.

We have many spirits in our home. They don't frighten us tho, so we're pretty sure most of em are related to us. Tbh brings us lil confort to know they're still with us ❤
Thank you Matt I can relate to what you where talking about we just moved in two years ago almost and the first day we moved in I seen a lady in a night gound I couldn't see her face though I didn't recognize her so I thought it was just my imagination and then I brought my friend who has two girls over and the one girl said there was a ghost here or living here and I said that's cool to her. We have cameras around the house and couple months we seen a orb at 4:45AM walking through our door and over our back porch and vanished, and then in November my grandfather saw her walk past the kitchen into the back part of our hallway but I agree with you she is just visiting her old house. The house we live in was built in 1960's
My college apartment that was only built 2 years prior to me living there had a poltergeist. I always felt uneasy in certain places and one night it threw a whiteboard across the entire room!
I’m now living in a very old duplex that was originally used as barracks and then just rented out for the last 50+ years. I do feel things here but only sometimes, and it’s not usually a bad vibe 🤷🏼♀️ but I can definitely tell a lot of different energies have come through here over time

My boyfriend purchased the house we live in, brand new. I’ve sensed a soul other than us was here. Then one morning at 2am, I walked past the kitchen and shadow thin legs were in the kitchen, I stepped back to look again, the legs were gone. I recreated what I saw with my own legs, and realized that the spirit was only 1 1/2 feet from me lol. I have no clue who it is. I’ve sensed whoever it is in our bedroom at night. Neither of us had lost a family member prior to what I saw, and sensed. I’m thinking the soul is related to the land, not the house. My boyfriend refers to the soul as “our Native American”.

Hi Matt! Since I was a child, I have always seen and felt spirits around me. This used to freak me out, but now as an adult I have come to understand that it is mostly my family coming back to visit or just someone passing through where they used to live. I've had two not so nice spirits when I lived in an old duplex from the 1950's. People that used to be training in the Army lived in these homes which were on an old Army base. My family and I always saw shadows and voices that were not familiar to us. I tried to get rid of the not so nice spirits, and it was not easy. He was always opening the back door in the middle of the night, and I could hear his boots on the floor walking. He did get angry when I asked him to leave while I was saging. He stayed for a while, and then I didn't feel him around any more. The greatest experience I had was when my grandparents came to visit me. I woke up in the middle of the night, and I could smell their scent , and when my dog Max came back too. That really made me happy, and I thanked them for visiting. Thank you for everything you do Matt, and for connecting people with their past loved ones. You are amazing! ♥

I lived in a 1936 house P Quebec. One day during the day i saw what i beleive to be my grandmother who passed away when i was 10., i scream she never came back 😂 another day i was sitting on my bed and a teenager came next to my bed ,very close I didn't know him.i wasn't afraid but surprise ,i wish i had thought to ask him questions ❓ both was clear like a living.
ohh man this happened to me just after the holidays with my neighbors, I knew and know I do not function in that nature so I had to clear some energy wow thank you for sharing

But that was only about 8 pictures in out of 40. Then I see a picture of a room that out of the whole house the only room with anything on the walls. It was a small framed picture, old dark in hue ... and a crucifix! Now I KNOW THAT it's haunted!! LOL 😅 But I can't shake the feeling that I should try to buy it. Crazy I know!! 😅 But this video makes me feel much better! It appears that the house has been vacant for a while but the owner has been slowly working on updating it. So, I don't think anything negative would have time to settle in!! 😊❤❤
One house I lived in with my little kids n spouse...that one I could here his footsteps, feel the breeze as he 'walked' by and 'knew he was there as i read to kids etc, another 2 I visited..all 3 times the common demoninator was...they had all been killed....I had no fear. I knew how they died too. The fella in the house we were living in enjoyed seeing me n my littles. After divorce and the 'new' spouse moved in...well he was still there and scared the heck out of 'her' by lifting their bed up and dropping it among other 'happenings'.
I loved 🥰 my house from the day I saw 👀 it and felt I belonged in it as I walked through the home 🏠
But , i always dream 😴 on a house I moved to after my first son’s passing and I’m always happy to be there in my dreams and I always wonder why I feel so happy, I believe that’s where I left his spirit even though I never lived there during his lifetime.
I saw and spoke to my now-dead ex; however, it was when I was 17 and we were dating at the time. I know it was him, and I wish I could have heard more of what he said, but he disappeared as he was talking to me. I felt no fear at all until after he left, and his voice sounded so familiar. I turned to look as he called my name thinking it was him coming home; however, this entity was 20 years older and 20 years to the day he passed away.
The home I grew up in and the home my husband and I purchased, (1887ish it was built), always heard and felt friendly spirits... When our two children were born, they are now in their own homes, they would here the music like me ...lots of music, our names being said, out loud, and our children would say, "mom, Dad, did you call me?", I'd tell them, no it must be a loved one from heaven, visiting you!!! We see things out of the corner of our eyes, and so much more.
I wish everyone would pay attention, especially skeptics, because our loved ones giving us signs, is truly a blessing and remarkable 🙏💖🙏💌💛

I feel the presents of my husband who passed last Dec. 30, at home. He too passed from COPD. I still have his ashes here with me and I have my mother's ashes here and my stepfather's ashes here and my mother's dog's ashes here with me. They all been hanging out with me for many years except for my husband. My husband in spirit has only been with me since last year. He was on hospice for close to 5 years. He was too young to go, but too sick to stay. I miss every inch of him. I keep a picture and his wedding ring right on my kitchen counter. There's nothing else there but him. I also keep his ashes in the kitchen. The others are in my bedroom. When are you coming to Augusta Maine? I could tell you some stories. I have had a lot of activity here and in my dreams as well.
