When willow was sniffing her, Colton froze. My dog did the same things w squirrels. He was always trying to play w them, when a group of babies surrounded and sniffed him he completely froze w only his eyes and tail nub moving. He was too shocked to finally play and didn't want to scare them while their mom was staring him down.
Animals are the best. Humans could learn a lot from them. (I know humans are animals too, but you know what I mean...we seem to think we're so superior. We're not).
Colton is such an amazing dog. She loves all the animals at the sanctuary & is so loving to not only Willow but has such an special bond w/the disabled animals. Love all these darling girls!!!
You should see TimMc's channel - Duck Holliday (pibble and goodest boy), Weave Earp (coyote Tim took in at a young age after she was abandoned), Howie DeWitt (Maine Coom cat), Ricky Bobby (young coyote Weave adopted after his mom fell prey to some hunters), Butch CASSidy (miniature donkey), and although currently MIA,Johnny Ringtail, a raccoon. With the exception of Johnny, they play together, eat hot dogs from Tim's hand, and (mostly) play so well together and get scritches and Weave gets brushed when she's shedding in the spring. 😊
I'm amazed at all the species of animals that become close, caring friends despite their many differences. I wish humans had that same loving ability to look past our differences and to make the world a better place.
I love how she checks Willow out but then sits as still as a statue to let Willow check her out!!! Sooooo very precious. I see best friends for life!!!!
This is just too adorable. I applaud the momma, she made sure it was okay to trust her baby with others. These two will be lifelong friends. Hope they can remain together.
