For the package, features and just the overall durability. It’s such a nice drone, at a glance I can understand why it would be off putting to spend 100 dollars on a drone especially if you want to get into them. But I 100% recommend it as a starter. It gets the job done, gives 11 ish mins of flight time with a short 1-2 hour charge time. Plus it takes good pictures, that alone makes it a decent little photography drone if the lighting is just right. But it is by no means a great camera. Just gives you what you’d want from it and that’s just Ok. It can handle roughly 5-7mph winds at the max I’d say before it starts to get shoved by it. Definitely better on calmer days. It is a fun adventure drone to take little captures of certain memories.

I bought a Tello last spring and its a lot of fun, I just used it for photos since the video is unacceptable quality. As I played with it I always wondered "why don't they come out with a sub 250 gr drone that actually has a good camera?". And lo and behold they did!! I recently just got the Mavic Mini so not sure how much use the Tello will get other than just to fly it around for pure fun factor. But the mini ROCKS!
In case noone answered, it doesn't take a wifi connection to fly, it uses your phones wifi pulling abilities to pull in a signal being emitted from the drone (think of the drone as a wifi router/ internet box) you connect to it with your phone and thats how you get a video feed

You definitely convinced me to get this drone it looks great just one thing I want to ask where in the settings do you change the height to 99ft thanks also I liked your video and I subscribed to your channel it is amazing keep it up
PSA just get a spark way better in every way especially if you find a used one with a controller or refurbished its has a way better camera wind resistance you can use it in up to 25-30km/h wind rnage it can go up to 2km or 500m for ce countries it can go upto 120m leaglly max 500m in app and has more fly time so I currently own a spark since 2018 and I can say it's one of the most robust best beginners drone their is on the market I will be getting a more expensive air 2 or mavic 2 pro soon but the spark is a great starter and a no brainer over this toy tello.
What kind of Wi-Fi box thing do u use becuase my Tello can barley go far with out glitching . Also yes I did try to turn off blue tooth. Thanks love ur videos

The camera is at a fixed angle, so you can't be right over an object and see directly below. It's roughly a 45 degree angle. You can rotate around a house though, it just takes practice to do it well.
My dad bought me a Tello on my 7 year old birthday I did have one before seven year old birthday but I crashed the other one and broke it I didn’t actually crash and break it when I crashed it the propeller broke so I tried to take it off but I accidentally took the motor off but at least I have a tello
Yeah, i like flying mine but the video gets really choppy. I was thinking about messing with bitrate settings, might help. Definitively gotta get me an wifi extender, the local store in my town only has wall mounted ones so i might have to look out for one i can use with a power bank.

Thanks for the comment and that’s something I should test. Xiaomi does say the extender should be between the user and the drone.
