I actually just spoke with this guy at Jays in Clare Michigan. There was one of these left on the shelf. Just so happened to be the same one used in this video. He is super knowledgeable.
Good Video! I am also a one stick hunter. I have used multiple sticks before but I hate using a lineman's rope. I just don't feel secure and climbing down is much more difficult and unsafe (especially in the dark). I will also use a big platform if I am hunting all day as my one stick platform does start to hurt my feet a couple hours in. It is very easy to tough out the slight pain for a half day sit but not full day.
Anytime I'm being too loud, I'm rushing myself lol try giving yourself an extra 10-15min so when you get to the tree you can focus on being silent & not feeling rushed up the tree 👍🏼
Terrible advice and method. You climbed high enough with the first move , before tying in to get severely injured if you fell backwards, which is absolutely possible as you stand on a small stick and have to do work affixing the rope.

I was wondering about that. Checked their website and didn't see anything with the aider or that said it worked with one. Maybe they were sold out?

What aider is that?
Looks like you're getting 4 feet per move after the 1st set up.
Try 2TC. It's faster and much quieter. It's safer as well.
Try the S.M.A.R.T. (NO SLACK) One Stick Method.

Unsolicited advice here. If you tie a piece of para cord around the stick and between the cam cleat jaws, it will eliminate the cam clank completely.
