Considering that my main is a hyur gunbreaker with Thancred's hairstyle colored brown, wears the Leonhart garb, has a scar across his face, and is named Storm Leonhart (because the game wouldn't let me name him Squall, and I doubt it would let me name him Leon,) yeah, I got that reference as well.

I'd love to see Shens first reaction to that cutscene where you, Thancred and Urianger are listening in on Ryne and Gaia, and you're characters just fucking popping squats in the background. I couldn't take that scene seriously cause of that, I loved it.
The biggest problem with this patch is that Explore Mode will only allow up to four people to have a Pride march through Matoya’s Relict at a time.

Friendly reminder that Akadaemia Anyder's last boss Quetzalcoatl had the title "Guardian Force," and was created through the sacrifice of one of the Amaurotian researcher's there. The first boss/floor of Eden, Eden Prime, also had the same title "Guardian Force."
I didn't realize it was Jo voicing him, I thought that was part of the game! It sounded really good!

Without spoiling anything, Dragoon is one of the most thematically satisfying jobs to end the Heavensward arc on.

Explaining why someone is being abusive doesn’t make it not abusive.

Not really, it's similar to the one in E4N where the debuff is there but you can survive without the swap if you pop two CDs. Basically the casual tank may fall for it. I imagine with the current max ilvl you'll need one only. But it totally foreshadows a necessary one in the Extreme.
@@MH4wheel aye I've mostly healed as sch this expansion but tanked most of them too but when I tanked all the way through 4.X as DRK with my only 70 and then going from normal to savage and extreme there wasn't anything like that to prepare you for that being a thing. I hope that they do more of that in the future imo.
The only place I remember that you need tank swap in normal raid is the alchemist goblin boss from that one alex raid
