Grieg is a treasure trove for intermediate pianists. I 'play' Papillon (The Butterfly) from Lyric Pieces Op. 43, Allegro Scherzando from Tone Pictures, Op. 3, and Wedding Day from Lyric Pieces, Op. 65.
The original Norwegian title of this (Småtroll) could literally be translated to just something like "Little trolls". It's interesting to see that the English title refers to a specific character/creature, even if that character appears in a bunch of different guises throughout cultures.
