- R&B has evolved so much since the early 1900s, I doubt anyone could've seen it coming. But 120 years later, it's still thriving with artists who continue to make the baby-making music our parents loved so much.
Let take the time to explore and understand the catalog of your not-so-average R&B artist, Brent Faiyaz!

I will be giving away two free FTW (Red Splatter) Vinyls at the end of the month. There are two ways to enter to win the vinyl:
For Vinyl 1 :

Your YT name will be entered into a random name generator and I will let it choose a winner.
For Vinyl 2:
2. Simply leave a comment in the description of an album you'd like me to do a video essay on (any genre) and whichever suggestion I like the most will win!
The winner will be announced on Oct.30th

Dope video! I'd be really interested in a video about Teyana Taylor's The Album or DUCKWRTH's SuperGood. I think both albums are in the top 5 albums of 2020 and deserve more love. Each have plenty lyrical depth and fantastic production, making for plenty to talk about!
brent is a goat that was a pretty good analysis bro. Just keep making videos, you'll get more used to the editing software and the videos will naturally become more polished. Premiere is one of the best and more intuitive programs to learn. Free TC would make a great analysis too, people think of Ty$ as just a feature artist but they don't realize he's one of the best at constructing a fully cohesive album and narrative rn too.
I'd love to see you cover Bryson Tiller's whole discography 😂 but just specifically Trapsoul and how iconic it is would be awesome to watch you break down

Nice vid!! I’m trying to think kinda outta the box but along these same lines, and I think The Goat by Polo G would be a great album to do a video on. Not a super big release this year, but it really should’ve been. He has some of the absolute best lyrics and deliveries in that melodic trap lane with Roddy and Juice. Great album.

One of my favorite albums is At What Cost by Goldlink. I think that would be an interesting one.
However, I would like to mention a more recent album that is very good in all angles. Nectar by Joji. I think it is a great artwork that has a variety of different vibes to it.
