The folks who design these sets spend a ton of time picking which cards to reprint so they can make an awesome draft experience. It is definitely unfortunate that less people get to appreciate their efforts due to the higher price point. Luckily they are releasing the set for drafting on MTGO, which will give a lot of folks (including myself) the chance to dive into the draft environment for a much lower cost.
I think boros is the strongest main color duo in this set by far, with splashes into other colors for the rarer bombs being incentivized for mardu/naya/etc esq aggressive decks

Only because someone on TH-cam said this set was going to be insane compared to the dumpster fires that have been taking place over the past year. @@NicolaiBolas I did my first double masters draft in person last night and pulled a cavern of souls and dockside. I went 2-1 with a sweet control deck that had hostage taker and dragonlord silumgar. It was a ton a fun.

Isn’t it like 10$ a pack tho? So like 35$ to draft?
Its worse. Its more like 15-20$ per pack. Drafts I've seen are between 50-60$ a draft.
