They used to have MUCH more interesting and varied gift shops and merchandise in the 90s and 80s. I used to work there in the late 80s. The Mercado used to sell huge colorful paper flowers. I made a LOT of them and people bought them up like CRAZY. They would sell as fast as the employees could make them. Where are they now? That was a tradition for a lot of years. The Studio store used to be the Spectrum, and it sold a lot of unique stuff and music related things. The majority of their items could be found no where else in the park. They used to play VERY loud music in there. Even Indian Village sold more interesting things. They used to sell a lot of Minnetonka moccasins and interesting things like bullwhips and western themed gifts such as popguns, flocked horses and toys you wouldn't see anywhere else. There was another store called the Country Store that is no longer there. It had all kinds of cool things. Realistic animal figures, music boxes, porcelain unicorns, even magic tricks and lots of ride-themed gifts and T-shirts that had nothing to do with DC or Looney Tunes. I could go on and on. I see NOTHING particularly unique in these shops anymore. Sad.
The Justice League stuff in the park has definitely overstayed its welcome imo. If they kept to the Gotham City section, I'd be fine with it. But that stuff is EVERYWHERE in the park, including places it doesn't even make sense. Even then, the area where the Riddler and Catwoman is now was a lot prettier as Goodtimes Square. At least with Looney Tunes, it's kept in generally one location (apart from the Yosemite Sam ride which is looking less and less likely to reopen anyway).
Thank you so much for videos like this. Really helps with planning. I’m going to SFOT for the first time ever. Have been paying for a Diamond Elite for a closed SFMM for a year. Going to use it next month when I’m in Texas.

did u say coaster model in your last video?
Yes, the park is supposed to have nanocoaster models or NTG and Titan.
A restroom and water fountain guide might be helpful for inexperienced park goers. Some are hidden away and less frequented. Awesome video!
