25 years ago this month I learned to love myself, and that sometimes you have to leave the person you love behind, this song says it all... I have never looked back on that decision, it was my children finally coming to me and saying they love their father but they just couldn't live with him, when I realized it was doing more harm to them than good I also realized how much harm it was doing to me, and it was time to love myself and my children as a single parent, and to this day I do not regret that decision.
Listened to this again this morning and shared it on FB. This tune really speaks to my Soul. I had to say goodbye to someone I loved very deeply and it nearly killed me, it hurt like hell, but sometimes you have to LEAVE someone to save yourself! You may truly madly and deeply love this person but you have to LOVE the most important person a little bit MORE (That person is YOU)! Know when to walk away and save yourself! You have that inner STRENGTH, muster it up and turn around and go!
