Is been a minute since I have posted a video and today I wanted to hopefully help someone outthere on how to install or replace the Zero 10X Rear Shock.
Also at the end of the video I do quick review on the DNM AOY-36RC Air Shock I have had for the last 8-9 months on my Zero 10X

Bro, you came to enjoy doing things with the scooter, I remember staying up till 3 or 4 am the first time on video call both doing our shocks thousands of miles apart haha. A great easy to follow video here, it would have saved us time for sure. New shock looks great.

You should do a review on a 10x stem folding stem lock. So you can lock your stem in the down position and carry it easier.

I must have missed something. The video appears to show how to replace an aftermarket air-shock, with the OEM spring shock. Are you recommending using the OEM spring shock instead of the air shock which you review at the end?
Ok so here is the scoop bro. In this video I replaced my DNM airshock which is fine BUT not 💯 happy with its performance due to the low profile my Z10X will get when riding. So the new shock in this video is not the stock one that comes with the Z10X. This new spring one it's a true hydrolic (with oil) spring unlike the stock ones which aren't. Does that helps more?

I saw your reply to an earlier comment about it being available from RevRiders, but only see that air shock on thier site. I cannot find a “Zero 390”, for sale, or even mentioned anywhere online.Thanks very much brutha!

Adjust the preload so it won't sag as much when stepping onto the scooter
I did and still does enough for me to notice it. I mean it rides smooth, but just a bit too low IMO 🙂

Hi is there a play with the rear shock after you changed the rear shock, because in the stock shock there is a wobble and clicking sounds once you lift it up the footrest from the ground, thanks

Can you install that shock upside down? Can the adjustment be at the bottom? I didn't know if it was universal or could only be installed one way.

Aloha bro! How is your steering on you 10x, my 10x came in tight should it be tight or easy to turn and where do you adjust it from the top or bottom of the stem. Mahalo
Hey Brother 🤙 Yes mine was the same way which IMO it's great BUT you can by adjust the very underneath bottom of the steering post ALTHOUGH I don't recommend.

On the rear it could but since the front is 135mm (150mm) Max will sit very uneven
I just run zero 8 scooter How can I lose the Springs without stripping it. It has no play

165mm on the front won't fit.

36rc has a dual (top and bottom) air chambers. The 38rc has a single (top air chamber)

I bought my Zero 10X two years ago and NOPE stock shocks rear or front didn't unless noe they sell it with these new ones 🤷🏻♂️ from #FalconPEV or #RevRides.

Both really….you went from a high quality air shock to a simple coil spring.
Oh ok I see you point now. Well I love tinkering with all my E-Scooters. And after riding with both shocks for a long time and having the time to test them I like the ride better of the new true hydrolic spring one 🤟😜🤙

I never tried a 190mm BUT I imagine it would make too uneven at 135mm in the front and 190mm on the rear. I am actually loving this new shock. The problem is everything I test I buy it myself and this is getting too expensive LOL.

No. Zero 10X stock is 135mm front and 165mm rear. The DNM airshock is 165mm BUT it sags (air) too much making the ride feel lower while riding (which i didn't like myself)
@@PEVRidersClub hmmmm annoying! I don't want that feeling either! Haha any way around it ? And for urban and riding over pot holes, having it locked was still fine ?
Having it locked helped but I just belive the shock itself isn't optimal for this. Again it was minor and still fun to ride but eventually didn't like it myself.
