Hey I've got a quick question regarding the 11x. I bought mine second hand for a very good price. It needed some work on the swingarms and suspension but good news was the motors, battery and controller are good. First thing I noticed upon inspecting the scooter was that the guy changed out the top shock bolts with believe it or not.... Fence post bolt, the ones were one side is domed with a square block with a nut in the end, shame on him.... I've since sorted that issue, but goes without saying the front and back suspension has a fair bit of play,it looks like the shocks are shot, the springs look bent, when the scooter is off the ground I can move the swing arms up and down..... A good 10mm play and I can certainly feel it in the ride hitting bumps. I have some new shocks on order, first thing I would like to know is the rear shock fits nice in the frame top and bottom, bushings are totally worn though and again bent springs that lean to 1 side. The front however seems to be missing a spacer in the top part as there's a gap. Does anybody know what size spacer goes in there please and does it need to be in the left, right or an equal amount on both sides of the top shock. I'm slowly getting this to where it should be, I just want to be happy it's right when I go back out. 😊
Yes brother! I will test it out for at least 3 - 4 weeks and update on its performance before i give it my stamp of approval. If you haven't yet please subscribe to the channel and come join us on facebook.com/groups/PEVRidersClub #RideSafe #RideFreely
@@PEVRidersClub Thanks Bro. I checked falcon Pev's vid to compare. I guess yours came inverted but it puzzles me that the new DNM shock is installed inverted as well. Hmm. Maybe there are no issues however you install it. More power bro! Ride safe!
I took it out for a quick ride and feels amazing!!! BUT like everything I test myself I will give my final impression in a month or so as Iike being truthful and careful when I give my stamp of approval on things other people may use themselves 👊😎🤙 If you haven't yet consider subscribing to our channel 😊 and come join us on facebook.com/groups/PEVRidersClub
@@PEVRidersClub Great! I appreciate your efforts. I have a turbowheel lightning+, same thing as a 10x and would consider replacing the shock of it made a big enough improvement.
Your suspension will stretch due to gravity and weight of the tires. I don't understand what do you mean by play at the bottom? Can you elaborate on that bro 😊
@@PEVRidersClub when having the scooter lifted the suspension extends if you push the wheels up from the bottom it will have a play, have you notice in your scooter
First initial ride was fantastic BUT too soon to tell so I will test it out for at least 3-4 weeks to see its performance and quality before I can give it the PEV Riders Club Stamp of Approval.
I'm sorry this video was a long time ago and when I did it I didn't want to give results based on just a few rides. What I can tell you now is that the spring is AWESOME!!!! It's still ony 10X and going strong 💪 I hope that helps you brother 😊
@@PEVRidersClub can you try able to make it extended swingarms to fitted with bigger wheels in zero8x zero9x that be cool to see them instead of having smaller wheels setup
@@PEVRidersClub Ive got a zero 10x rear plate and also made it fit on my ninebot max so stoked about having them swingarm and suspension are looking beasty
That's great 👍 let us know how it goes for you. Just a few thoughts: 125mm maybe to short and you may feel the difference even more by being Air. I still hope is not the case and very much interested to know how it works for you brother 👊
@@PEVRidersClub That would be sweet, I have stock ones coming to get me back on the road from my dealer so that's cool but would like to upgrade them still.
Finally a shock that doesn't sit high or low on the ZERO 10X. Great video Carlos!
Thanks Brody 👊😎🤙I agree with you

isnt the original spring 1500 on the zero 10X? 🤔 for both front and rear..
Yes but ZERO had quality issues with stock ones
Great tutorial 👊
Thank you Fam!!! 👊
I’ve kept my stock shocks because nobody made a good front shock. It may be time for the upgrade now!
Heck yeah brother 💪
Just wondering why U didn't put it shock up the other way ?
What do you mean by other way?
I am waiting for the results of the tests and the purchase link

SO ... are you just taking a 165 mm and setting the spring tension to lowest possible ?
I'm not seeing a DV22 anywhere in 135 mm
No sir. Back then when I made this video I got from Falcon PEV and it is 135mm.
@@PEVRidersClub I can't find a 135mm anywhere!
Hey bro. Yeah it seems that Falcon stopped making them for now 🤷🏻♂️ I will looking into it and see what I find for you 😉
@@GingerOnWheels Ginger on wheels!!Bump bump!
Hi! at 2:27 Why is your stock shock inverted (top is on bottom)?
Is not sir. Both my stock rear and front shocks were like this from factory until I changed them.
@@PEVRidersClub Thanks Bro. I checked falcon Pev's vid to compare. I guess yours came inverted but it puzzles me that the new DNM shock is installed inverted as well. Hmm. Maybe there are no issues however you install it. More power bro! Ride safe!
I'll double check with them also BUT I had my 10X for 2 years and still alive LOL! 🤞
@@PEVRidersClub Wow! Your 10x still looks new! Mine is 10 months old at 2K odo and looks old & dirty AF
I clean her everyday and no off-road for her LOL!!!
Great Video Carlos.
Thanks brother 👊😎🤙
Hey is the front 135mm what about the rear planning to change with some Hydraulics front and rear for softer ride
Zero 10X Front: 135mm Rear: 165mm
Was the ride quality improved much with the new shock?

Yeah we are cousins in the scooter world. Yeah I'll keep you posted on the performance of it for sure brother 💯👌
Will these shocks fit on the ZERO 11X/ PHAETON?
No they don't (I tried 😜)
@@PEVRidersClub Are any upgraded shocks available for the Phaeton/ Zero 11X.
I am actually in the process of finding some, I will let you know as soon as get them 🤙😊
There is the DNM DV22 or the DV22AR which is the same as the DV22 however it is adjustable so I am wondering if it would work the DV22AR that is
For your D6+ right?
@@PEVRidersClub my Dragon Hunter 10X basically a Zero 10X rebranded etc
Also the DV22AR is adjustable not the DV22 sorry
Then it should work
I see
My question, when having my scooter on a box off the ground suspension extended do the suspension always have a play at the bottom?

like it rattles horizontally or vertically?
By the way I just went to check mine and put it on my lift to check and there is no movement or play.

Nice brother
Thank you hermanito 👊😎🤙
Where you get those
You can get them thru Falcon PEV or REVRides if you are in the US 🇺🇸

Yeah 💯

No Amazon link to this?
Sorry brother this isn't sold by Amazon. As I said in the video I got it thru Falcon PEV.
@@PEVRidersClub thanks miss that the one on there website is gray not black like yours when did u buy it?
They sent it to me two weeks ago
Any other source of this shock? Shipping from Falcon PEV to europe costs almost the same as shock itself! Plus taxes :-(
Unfortunately not so far BUT I'm sure soon they will with retailers near you 👊😀🤙
I bought the 125mm air model, very easy to find on aliexpress, I still have to test it.
