I am crying! I have been using a B5 since the beginning of my BuJo journey and I hardly see spreads for this size! Thank you!
Most welcome! Hope they can be useful for you 😄💜
How did you know I was thinking about a b5? You’re a treasure trove of journaling ideas ❤Thanks Jess!
I’m a wizard 😉 haha thanks! 💜
First: OMG! Those WASHI TAPES❤❤❤❤
Second: I started bullet journaling back in 2016 with Leuchtturm 1917 A5. One day, and because I didn't like the yellowish paper that brand had, I moved to Archer and Olive B5. This changed my journaling completely. I am a die hard B5er and don't plan to leave it! Beautiful layouts.
Third: OMG! THOSE WASHI TAPES😂😂😂😂😂
greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
Haha glad you like the tape! 😄💜 I moved out of an LT1917 because of the paper colour too (and the page weight 😝)
what a great evening for me. cup of tea, fans going strong, ice cream, and one of Jess's ideas videos! sorted!
Haha sounds like a good time 😄💜 hope the ice-cream was excellent 👌
@@JashiiCorrin given how difficult it is for me to find edible food (thanks allergies), it was amazing! Cows milk free chocolate ice cream with salted chocolate pretzel pieces😍. Even though it's only a small tub, u ate half of it. Oops🤪
Danke, liebe Jess, für dein Video 💐.
Ebenfalls einen herzlichen Dank für die Mühe, die du dir gemacht hast, um uns deine Ideen zu zeigen.
Thank you, dear Jess, for your video 💐.
Also, thank you very much for the effort you made to show us your ideas.
Thanks Melly 😄💜 Glad you liked it!
I decided to give bullet journaling a go with the last A&O sub box, and am using the very B5 you show here 😊 I’m being very minimalist atm, but love seeing all these possibilities!!
Moving into a full size journal for 2025, and this helps tons. Thank you 🙏🏻
Glad it was helpful! 😄💜
I'm debating between an A5 and a B5 for my school bujo this year (going without a bujo and relying only on notes in my actual planner got messy and confusing last year), so this was super-helpful! Thank you!
I love the B5 size! Hemlock and Oak have announced one for 2025🎉. Great ideas in this video.
The contact paper is genius!
B5 is my preferred size! I love it and no one ever shows it. I use a Discbound right now but it's a B5/classic discbound, the same as a composition notebook.
I highly recommend everyone try a composition notebook bullet journal at least once.
It gives me all the space to have a week on two pages and a monthly log where I can write a couple lines each day.
Watching this while sitting outside and enjoying a cup of coffee. Great way to start my Saturday.
Happy to keep you company 😄💜
You're awesome, girl! Yep. Still a wizard 🙂
This is so comprehensive, thnaks!
Most welcome! 😄💜
This is so comprehensive, thank you, amazing content!
Most welcome! 😄💜 Hope it proves useful 🤞
I only remember seeing this in DIYFish's life mapping planners, but picking a line on the page with a specific color code, you color the square or whatever on the outside edge so you can edge the pages and see where that topic is. Like the 5th row down is colored dark blue to indicate that page has health related notes, tasks, appts, info about lab results, etc. Or line 2 in teal is info related to your partner. Then each time you want to find that topic, slide the pages to look like a gradual waterfall and each instance is marked right there. I like the idea of spacing the marks out incase something needs added later it can get sorted into place rather than just the next available row.
The monthly calendar on its side where each day of the week is horizontal instead of vertical was in her system too where the page beside can be folded in half to copy over that week's info, the other half as a task list then dailies folded to line up by the week. It's harder without her templates but the backs of pages work better in notebooks for the weekly section so it can be fully open and the daily pages folded in half so the week days with scheduled stuff is visible each day. The last section can be a weekly review or reset.
I adapt a lot of systems for myself, but I admit while my brain liked working out the weekly and days side by side, I have not done it. It involves far too much folding and figuring out what to use the blank page next to the month and end of each week is more than my brain wanted to do. I want as much function out of every page as possible.
Fair 👏 sounds like a cool system though! I’ve used the coloured segments to theme pages before in a previous journal 👌 while I liked the way it worked and looked from the outside, because I colour theme my layouts as much as I do, I didn’t like the coloured sections clashing 😂
I know it's been a lettering worksheet, but i would love a video tutorial of how you do the lettering for the titles! It's so chic.
I really like the colours for this and the ombré on the headers
Thanks Paige! 😄 The setup was a bit of a mission, but I think it came together well 💜
So many amazing ideas, I will definitely be stealing a couple of these for my own planner ☺☺
I am currently using an A4, so some of these would be useful for me. Thanks for some new ideas!
I like the idea of keeping the A5 layouts but with more room for stickers...
Very possible, yeah 👌 I know that’s a main reason some people move into a B5 😄💜
I love using a B5 as my notes and tracking journal because I like having all that space. Also, I'm a wizard. :)
I'm totally a wizard 😄🧙🏻♀️
Aww yiss 🥳 wizard team! 💪
Ooh fun ideas 🎉 now do an A6!
We’ve already got that one 😄💜

i bought recently a notebook that's a bit larger than b5. i have no idea what to use it for, so hopefully this gives me some ideas
Oh thank u so much. I have this journal and am not fully bullet Journaling but I hate, really hate, what is out there for hourly planners so i was gonna like semi bullet... ish. Thank you.
Most welcome! 💜 I appreciate bullet journaling for the built-what-you-want and build-what-you-need aspects of it 👌 a great option if you can't find other planners with layouts that work for you 😊
A bit late, but still a wizard.
Also, I love this, I've been using a B5 this year and this will be very useful for the next one 💜
when you use the contact paper method for meal planning does the marker residue get on the joint page when the journal is closed?
Full of great ideas as always! That thumbnail, though--so aggressive! What did that poor A5 ever do to you? 🤣🤣🤣
It knows what it did 👀 😂
What kind of material did you use on erasable page?
And how you wrote those neatly vertical 1-31 log on your page? stickers? or portable printer?
The numbers were often a washi tape (linked in the description) and the erasable page is just covered with clear contact book covering 😄💜
😊 I’m a wizard!
Aww yiss 🥳 wizard team! 💪
Do you have any recommendations for B5 note books that already have an index and page numbers? I’ve been using an STM and I use my index and page numbers a LOT. I really don’t like A&O because of the lack of those. But I can’t really find any bujos with a good gsm that are B5 and have those lol
leuchtturm1917 have b5 with index and page numbers
I normally just make my own index space rather than going for notebooks with them pre-printed, and can’t say I know of any that are B5 with them outside of STM and LT1917 🤔 I also prefer to make my own because then it still has dot grid paper 😂 but interested to see if anyone else has recommendations! 💜
A&O now has one with page numbers (not sure about index). It's called Marked.
Yasssss🎉🎉🎉
Haha 😂 glad you’re excited 💜
❤❤❤❤
😄💜
I’m a wizard ;-)
Aww yiss 🥳 Wizard teammmm 💪
My name is not Harry, but I am a wizard😂😂😂
Aww yiss 🥳 wizard team! 💪
I really love the idea of using red for the layouts! It makes it look so good, and whatever you write in black stands out more.
Always loved the b5 size, I just wish we had more options for dot grid.
Glad the red spoke to you! 💪 Yeah having more B5 notebook brands would be good 😄
Early!! Hi again!! ^^
Hey! 😄💜
